I’ve got an incredible new Australian wedding to share with you now. This was a totally laid back, chilled out, friends catching up affair, a true Aussie fest. Plus the sunset photographs really make me swoon – I love it!

A Farm Wedding with Fancy Dress, Fun & Frolics: Lauren & Matt
August 31, 2012
Lauren & Matt's started their wedding planning knowing exactly what they wanted: something relaxed, stress-free and fun. They were lucky enough to have a friend whose parents own a farm, so everything else really stemmed from that. Lauren told me all about it. "As soon as we got engaged we knew how we wanted our wedding to be, we just didn't know how to do it! The first and most important thing was to find a photographer. Being a enthusiastic photographer myself, I spent weeks searching for one that she liked, we finally came across Sassy of Assassynation and sent an excited email straight away. She immediately told us to phone her for a chat as we hadn't set a date yet, but when she told us she only had 2 Saturdays free in the 3 months that we were looking at we booked her there and then! Everything else was then planned around her."
A Nature Reserve Day After Shoot: Jillian & Dustin
May 8, 2012
After falling in love with Jillian & Dustin's rockstar wedding which I saw on Style Me Pretty last month, I was thrilled when photographer Sarah Maren asked me if I'd like to feature their day after shoot. They were married at The Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento, California on 4th November 2011.

Second Time Lucky – David & Ingrid’s Redo Portraits
September 15, 2010
"David, an Aussie living in London, met Norwegian Ingrid on a trip to Norway through friends" photographer Ed began. "They hit it off straight away and had a long distance relationship for a while until Ingrid decided to move over to London. They both share a passion for music. Dave is a guitarist and music director and Ingrid is still studying, but sings. One thing led to another and they got married in July 2008 in Ingrid's home town Stavanger, in Norway. It was a fantastic wedding with people from London, Norway and Australia. However, one thing went badly wrong... their photographer lost their entire set of photos (their photographer was not me by the way!) due to a hard disk issue. Ingrid was naturally devastated!"

Mikee and Magdalena eloped in Las Vegas and didn't get great wedding photographs. So when they got back home to Australia they decided to put their wedding outfits back on and create a wedding album that they could cherish forever.
