The Bridal Shoot and The Hurricane
January 5, 2009
I love Bridal Shoots! I enjoyed mine so much, it was great to put the dress back on and just have fun with the photos, not worrying that your taking too much time away from your guests on the actual wedding day. You will no doubt be much more relaxed too – hopefully resulting in much better photographs!
Julie Robles really pushed the boat out with this set. The bride may not have been as relaxed as I was as the photo shoot fell on the same day Hurricane Ike blew in! But just check out the fabulous results – the umbrella, the bouquet, the dress – I love them all! :o)

A Vintage Shoot with Lucy Ledger Designs
August 23, 2010
If you're a regular reader of Rock n Roll Bride I'm sure you'll already be aware of the amazing Emma Case (she shot the image that I'm currently using as my blog header/my 'Punk Rock n Roll Bride' shoot) and Lucy Ledger Designs. Lucy makes gorgeously creative vintage-inspired stationary (I've also been lucky enough to feature her before as well as meet her in actual real life!) After Lucy saw Emma's work on Rock n Roll Bride she got in touch asking if they could get together to do a promotional shoot for her vintage stationary company. Hello!? Match made in vintage Rock n Roll heaven or what!?
A Touch of Drama

There's nothing more dramatic than a coloured bridal gown and this amazing 'Rock my Dress' bridal shoot by Yorkshire based photographer Mark Tierney certainly proves this point. I feel inspired just looking at these!

Sugar & Spice & All Things Nice – New Wedding Trends for 2011
November 26, 2010
If there's one thing that makes a wedding blogger's heart go a-flutter, it's lots of lovely details - gorgeous ideas that you, dear reader, can sneakily steal for your own weddings. So, when I was sent this utterly gorgeous rustic/Rock n Roll (who says the two can't merge!?) it took me all of about 30 seconds to say yes to featuring it.
Moustache cookies (and shoes!), cute typography, mis-matched bunting, multi coloured florals a-plenty and a cake covered in different coloured bow ties (seriously dying over here.) Oh yes, this blogger certainly approves!
