Nicoletta and Adam wanted a relaxed city wedding which reflected them both, was close to home and filled with their family and friends. They only served vegan food and filled their wedding with all the things they love.

Their ceremony was held in a medieval hall in Norwich. “Norwich is full of history and it was awesome to get married in such an iconic building,” began Nicoletta, “The ceremony was so intimate and wonderful. I walked down a beautiful staircase into an historic hall and we were married under the most stunning bay window. Walking down the staircase and seeing Adam waiting for me was my favourite part of the whole day. My mother held the ceremony and so it was incredible to have her there at such an important part of my life. We read our own vows, made out promises and all in front of our closest friends.”

Their reception was held at North Bar and the night ended with one hell of a party. “As we were coming to the party end of things our photographer, Josh, grabbed us a took us to the bar”, she said. “He took one photo of the barman and then handed him his camera and asked him to take some photos of us all! He had laid out three glasses of either normal Tequila or Black Patron and we did some shots and had some laughs and the barman took the photos. After the wedding and honeymoon we headed back to North for something to eat and drink and the barman remembered us. He was so happy that he had been involved in the day, it was really nice to have our wedding so fondly remembered.”

Their biggest expense was their evening reception venue, but it was totally worth the cost. “ We loved the place, it had such a beautiful feel to it. The staff, the food, everything about it was perfect. But we saved money by crafting all our own decorations and making our own invites. We all pulled together to get it done!”

For Nicoletta, keeping focused on becoming husband and wife kept her from getting too stressed in the planning process. “Just knowing that at the end of planning and creating our perfect day, I would get to marry the man of my dreams was the best feeling. Our advice for future brides and grooms is to really just to go with your heart. Do the things you want to do. Don’t be scared to be true to yourselves and get the wedding you want. Also book Josh as your photographer!”
