Be Inspired III

April 3, 2009

I have loved hanging out with Emily of Peach & Pearl this week..a huge thank you for all her hard work putting together some fantastico inspiration boards just for us. I hope you have all loved them too!
So for the last time (this week) over to Emily…

For my last board, I imagined an intimate, sit-down dinner with your closest family and friends that could be held just as easily in a loved one’s backyard or the patio of your favourite restaurant.  While not as rock and roll as some celebrations I could have put together, I think this board really reflects what I feel is the heart of Rock ‘n Roll Bride – not bowing to wedding convention, but truly having the wedding that best reflects you as a pair and your relationship.  Keep things simple and handmade with potted herb favours, a hosta and lady slipper bouquet, breadstick and olive oil centrepieces, pigs in a blanket at the cocktail hour, and a short, sassy dress for the bride.
