I’m not a photographer but Jeff Newsom makes me reeeally wish I was – he really is simply awesome! I can see why he has inspired so many photographers of late.
Melinda & Chris had a beeeautiful wedding at Hastings House, Salt Spring Island, BC. Mindy looked beyond stunning in her grey Badgley Mischka dress and her enviable red Miu Miu shoes. Is she the ultimate rock n roll bride or what? The whole wedding certainly had rock n roll flair, with close family and friends along for the ride. The Seattle based couple choose the venue for it’s stunning ocean view and and spectacular surroundings. Photographer Angela described the event as lots of fun, champagne, good food, laughs, music, tattoos, singing + love, yet with elegance, beauty and color.
I may say this all the time, but Jip and Nanat are sooo cute! Gotta love a couple that will done animal heads for their engagement shoot..I kid you not.
Thanks Jeremy as ever for his awesomeness. ps yes the first photo is dorky but I love it!
Just easing you into your Saturday morning with some lovely shots from the super gorgeous Tab McCausland – splashing about in a fountain on a hot Florida day? Yes please!
This is yet another shoot I have been dying to share for ages. Rock n Roll Bride fave, Trigger Happy Tara showed me a sneak peak of these a few weeks ago and me being as impatient as ever I have literally been chomping at the bit to get these up for you all!
Husband and wife team James & Bev just sent me these stunning Kikaua Point Beach wedding from May this year. I actually spotted some of these images on one of my many hunts for damn cool weddings and in fact begged them to send me the images of Amanda & Rob’s big day. Me? play it cool?…certainly not!
The couple had a Don Julio Tequila toast right after they said ‘I do’ (now I don’t really know what this is, but I can only imagine it involved Tequila shots after the vows!) and Amanda wore are beautiful traditional Hawaiian dress called a mu’umu’u as her wedding gown and quite frankly looked stunning.
A huge thanks to Bev & James for sending me these and letting me share this stunning wedding with you all!
ps yes there are a lot of images in the post. I couldn’t narrow them down. Forgive me?

The graffiti, the black balloons, the derelict and slightly scary looking abandoned buildings – pure rock n roll gold.
Thanks to Kat for sharing!

Well you lucky lucky things, have I got some adorable images to share with you today, starting with Jenna & Mike and their way-too-frickin’-cute park/picnic/vintage bike/doggie/awesome tattoo themed engagement session. The couple are getting married in September and the phenomenal Love Me Do Photography will be doing the photographic honours (I ♥ them!) but for now, be patient and enjoy these gorgeous engagements shot by Melissa Rae Kurzenski.
Thanks to Jenna & Mike for sending these to me and I can not wait to see your wedding in September!
