Could Jack and Cece be the happiest, most expressive couple we’ve ever published? Quite possibly. We dare you to look through their wedding photos and not smile from ear to ear! The vison behind their Bristol wedding was just the coolest too – registry office ceremony, a cider bar for grazing boards and drinks then heading to Wake the Tiger, the UK’s largest immersive art experience!

Jack had been before and knew it was the only place he wanted to party. He’s a DJ, their crowd is full of ravers, and the vibe was always going to be about fun over formality. “We all love a good rave so wanted the wedding to feel as fun as possible”, Cece said, “especially as it was with all our friends – no distant relatives to please!”

The bride wore an outfit from White Fox with a thrifted faux fur coat while the groom’s jacket came from a market in Taghazout. They had no cake, stationery or décor, he flowers were bought last minute from the supermarket. This day was just all about good vibes with zero stress! “The ceremony was also very low key”, she continued. “We wanted to do the legal part as quick as possible so we could enjoy our day.”

Wake the Tiger brought the chaos. Guests roamed secret doors, optical illusions, surreal sets and a hidden slide. It’s built by the creators of Boomtown, so you know the scale.

They skipped traditions without hesitation. There was no pressure to keep up appearances because this wasn’t the only wedding. Later that summer they had a Catholic church ceremony in Spain with Cece’s family. “Very different vibe!” she laughed. “It was to make my mum and dad happy.”

But their Bristol day with their chosen family was the one that screamed them. A rave disguised as a wedding. A wedding disguised as a rave. However you frame it, it totally worked!
