They’d originally planned for a 200-person wedding but after spending a week together at Daytona Bike Week in St. Augustine, Florida, Hannah and Kyle decided they were done making their wedding about everybody else. So, they cancelled everything and booked an elopement instead.
“We were inspired by the idea of breaking free from expectations”, Hannah told us. “The intimacy and spontaneity of eloping, and the mix of vintage and modern details (hello, classic Chevy Bel Air) all played into creating a day that screamed us.“

Planning their wedding had been fraught with drama, so stripping everything back just felt right. The bride already had her Martina Liana dress, but everything else was entirely different to the original plan.
“My bridal look was so me,” Hannah continued. ” I wanted to look like myself, not some cookie-cutter bride. I had teal mermaid hair (which l’ve rocked for 7+ years!), a Martina Liana gown with lace and sparkle, and a bold stained-glass Jesus tattoo by Chris Mack to honour my faith. Kyle’s tux was sleek and stylish, covering 110+ hours of tattoo work l’ve inked on him myself!”

They held the ceremony at the Crystal Ballroom, a space Hannah discovered while tattooing at the St. Augustine Bike Week convention. One traditional element they did keep was having her dad walk her down the aisle. “One memorable moment was when my husband saw me walking down the aisle and we both started crying – it was pure magic. We wrote our own vows, filled with inside jokes, deep promises, and words straight from the heart. It wasn’t about making it sound poetic for an audience, it was about speaking our truth to each other.”

After the ceremony, they wandered the city’s cobbled streets with their photographer and videographer, ate ice cream and posed with the Chevy Bel Air they had hired for the day.
Afterwards, they checked into the honeymoon suite of their venue, and the next day they flew to the Bahamas for their honeymoon! They had zero regrets. “Eloping is the biggest flex in the world and you can’t change my mind,” Hannah concluded. “It says ‘I’m a badass and I don’t care what anyone thinks of me!’ Eloping was the best decision ever.”
