Lily and Caitlin’s wedding was unapologetically vibrant, joyfully queer, and bursting with personality. From their signature colour palette of bright orange and pink pulled straight from the lesbian pride flag, to a high-energy reception full of surprises, every moment was designed with love and community in mind.

They kicked things off with a first look at Gasworks Park, overlooking one of their favourite views of the Seattle skyline. With kayakers cheering from the water and champagne in hand, they embraced the moment with laughter and love before wandering the Fremont neighbourhood for portraits.

The celebration continued as guests arrived at the venue and were greeted with custom wrist stamps (yes, like a club entry), polaroid cameras, and a cheeky timeline dubbed “The Gay Agenda.” Signature cocktails were served alongside popcorn before the ceremony began.

Their ceremony itself began with each bride walked down the aisle with both of their parents. They exchanged personal vows and then raffled off the honour of being their legal witnesses!

As they recessed down the aisle, guests showered them with rainbow streamers… only they weren’t the short ones Lily and Caitlin had expected. Instead, they were completely covered in long, colourful strands – an iconic surprise that made for the best photos and only added to the celebration.

Inside, the reception décor was intentionally themed around the colours of the lesbian pride flag. Stunning florals adorned every table, mixed with pops of fresh fruit. The florals from the ceremony were repurposed beautifully at their sweetheart table, framed by a bold neon sign that read “Happy Wife, Happy Life.”

Family and friends brought incredible energy to the night. The speeches were on point, with touching stories and big laughs. Caitlin’s dad even surprised everyone by performing a song Caitlin had written as a child!

As the night rolled on, Lily and Caitlin swapped into custom Nikes, tossed out personalised t-shirts for their guests to wear, and hit the dance floor. There was beer pong, wall-to-wall dancing, and nonstop joy. Ultimately, it was a celebration that perfectly reflected who they are… and weddings don’t get any better than this!
