So these are not all strictly wedding related photographs, but I like them…very much…and maybe they can inspire you for your own engagement/trash the dress/bridal shoot. Some of the fashion in these images is ever so slightly Japanese-esque – I love that!

Bohemian Countryside Hippies Shoot: Jesse & Charlie
August 24, 2013
This hippy-esque countryside shoot was set up by wedding photographer Camilla Rosa. who really wanted to shoot an emotional set that perfectly reflected the couple in it. Jesse and Charlie live in a hut on the banks of a river with no electricity, sing in a band, home made pretty much everything and only wear charity shop or home made clothes - so her idea was perfect for them!
Horses, Rainbow Brights & a Tattooed Bride
October 9, 2012
If someone was to ask me to list my favourite things tattooed brides, bright rainbow colours and cute, furry animals would all fare pretty high on my list. So needless to say I didn't hesitate when I was sent this bridal shoot by wedding photographer Martin Hobby!

Shot in the Gothic paradise of Whitby, North Yorkshire (they have a famous twice yearly gothic weekend festival) photographer Michelle of SilverStar Photographic had long wanted to shoot here. However her initial idea didn't become a full blown vision until she met Michelle from Victorian Gothic Clothing.
Summer of Love: Veronica & Craig at The Photography Farm
July 27, 2013
Veronica and Craig are pretty much obsessed with their camper van, so when wedding photographer Lisa Devlin asked them if they'd like to model for her upcoming Photography Farm, a 3-day residential photography workshop in the heart of Sussex, they asked if it could get in on the action too! From there an idea started to form for the shoot and Lisa, alongside florist and stylist extraordinaire Hannah of The Tea Set, came up with the concept of a Summer of Love theme.
Having a Festival Wedding? Check out FabulousWedFest!
My Fabulous Life
February 9, 2013
Are you having a festival themed wedding? 2012 was certainly the year that this idea exploded into weddings, but it would appear it isn't going anywhere during 2013 either!
This festival-inspired wedding shoot was pulled together by wedding photographer Becky Joiner and Muddifords Court in order to promote their latest venture, the FabulousWedFest wedding show which is taking place on 16th March. Shot in and around the venue itself, and using suppliers that will actually be exhibiting at the fair, this shoot shows that festival weddings are far from over. It's clearly a theme that we're going to see gaining popularity in 2013 and beyond. Wellies at the ready guys!
Janis Joplin Inspired Retro Picnic Elopement
September 20, 2014
There are plenty of wedding inspiration shoots being featured on wedding blogs and in the magazines, but there's a distinct lack of same sex models for my liking! Which is why when this shoot from Six Hearts Photography came in, I was thrilled!
Simple & Organic Bridal Inspiration
March 30, 2013
To me, the thing that makes a really great editorial shoot isn't all the pretty details (although they help), the beautiful model or the amazing backdrop - it's the narrative and the story that the images tell. As soon as I saw this shoot sent over by wedding photographer James Melia I instantly started wondering what this girl's story was and what the photographer and stylist wanted to tell us.
Free-Spirited Outdoor Wedding Style in Quebec

Serious wife goals and life goals from today's shoot, a dreamy festival-inspired wedding ceremony in Mouton Village, a charming estate hidden in a valley in Québec, Canada. In fact we love this so much we've shared it twice! If you've picked up a copy of issue 23 you may recognise a few of these shots from Kat's 'Dear Kat' letter!
