I didn’t plan today’s post this way but when I was uploading all the images for the weddings I selected I realised we’re going to be taking a little trip all around the world – starting with this amazing red themed wedding from South Africa!
Philip & Jay’s wedding took place at Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa, overlooking the spectacular South African landscape. The location made for some really unusual and fun places for their portraits. The incredible decor was all organised by Andele of Aleit Wedding Planners who was able to perfectly capture their vision of a eclectic, red-infused spectacular! I am totally nuts about those red glasses hanging from the roof and the ornate chandelier lying on the table - just amazing and so so original!

What do you get when you cross a gorgeous Rock n Roll couple, an abandoned building and the biggest, most overgrown (in a good way!) looking table decorations you’ve ever seen? This, that’s what and I just know you’re gonna love these!

So you loved Omar & Junela’s gothic engagements right? Well you are going to go doolally over their wedding. Words can not describe the work, passion and love that must have gone into planning this day. The details are spectacular and the bride’s powder pink feathered dress, designed and made by Filipino designer Joel Escober…well it literally made my heart skip a beat.

Hello my dears and welcome to the first Thursday Treats of the new decade! Just as big, just as inspiring and just as fit to bursting with links and fun a-plenty. Let’s crack on shall we?
♥ 2010 may only be in it’s infancy, but it has so far been a very exciting year for Rock n Roll Bride! Not only was I featured in Cosmopolitan Bride, was included in Bride Tide’s prestigious ’100 Wedding Blogs (and Twitters) to Follow in 2010′ awards, (#1 under the ‘Offbeat’ section – hell yeah!) but I was lucky enough to be asked to model for the infamous Julia Boggio and her Vintage Boudoir series. I braved the snow yesterday and headed up to her Wimbledon studios for a day of fabulous retro hair & make up, styling to die for and to pose and pout my little ass off. I can not wait to share all the details and the photographs, but for now, why not check out my sneak peak shots that I took of (some!) of my outfits with my new favourite toy.

♥ I nearly died when I saw this Vivienne Westwood wallpaper a while back, and I felt like I’d gone to heaven all over again when I saw these dresses made from it
