Revival

Vintage cameras are all the rage right now. I’ve seen them used as props in various engagement and wedding day shoots. However, New Yorker Robert Christian Malmberg has taken it one step further, by reviving a photographic technique popular in the 19th Century.  He uses is own Bellows camera and ‘wet plate collodion’ to create the effect you see below.  His thinking is to make timeless images that contemporary Brides will love.

    Gorgeous! I love that there are photographers out there still using vintage techniques. You can mimic almost anything in a computer now days but it’s just not the same.
