Intimate Central Park Elopement with a Rent the Runway Dress

There’s so much to love about this super sweet and intimate Central Park elopement. Mostly the fact that Clara and Jean Pierre did EXACTLY what they wanted. Their only focus was themselves which meant they could have an authentic day that was all about them and their love.

There was one element of tradition though: Clara did something old, new, borrowed and blue! Her dress was borrowed from Rent the Runway and her something old was her shoes which she also wore to her prom. Her something new was her necklace, and her something blue was her awesome leather jacket from Free People.

“We wanted an intimate and chic wedding, and we wanted to play with some of the wedding traditions”, said Clara. “Our ceremony was just the two of us, our officiant and our photographer. The intimacy of it was so special we laughed, we cried and we love that we tied the knot in the part of the park where we feel in love. We loved having Rena as our officiant she did such an amazing job! We celebrated our wedding by popping a bottle of Moet – nothing says celebration like a little champagne!”

“By choosing to go non-traditional we got to skip so much of the planning stress and just focus on the important details to us. There’s NOT A DAMN THING we would have done differently. Our advice to other couples is just to follow your dreams not traditions!”
