Beth and Elliott, who travelled to Vegas from the UK for their wedding, described their day as “Fun, flirty, and so Vegas!” They brought some close friends and family members with them and treated the whole experience like a holiday. “Honestly, we just know what we like and ran with it.” Beth told us. “We work so hard in our everyday lives we just wanted a big break. A day for us, about us and overflowing with love!”

Planning from overseas could have felt daunting but they worked with Rock N Romance Elopements who made the whole process so easy and stress-free. “Getting married in Vegas is easier than you think!” she continued. “This is maybe because we and kept things small but also the amazing team at Rock N Romance made us feel so reassured even from miles away.” They planned for two years and built real relationships with their suppliers. By the time they arrived in Nevada, it felt like meeting up with friends.

The ceremony, held at the Neon Museum, began with guests being seated to Happily Ever After from the Disney World Magic Kingdom fireworks show. “We are huge Disney people so that was so lovely to hear and share.” Beth then walked down the aisle to Jamie T’s Bonnie & Clyde, a song that supported her through a life changing surgery in the early days of their relationship.
“Our officiant was the most amazing person inside and out we could all feel the love pouring out of every word she spoke”, she explained. “Our guests were absolutely blown away and she bought us to tears with such heartfelt words.”

As the ceremony ended, they were in for a real Las Vegas surprise – the most incredible sunset imaginable. “The sky was filled with fire! Every person was in awe!” remembered the bride.
Guests then travelled to the reception on a hired party bus, keeping the party spirit going while giving Elliott and Beth a pocket of time together. They did some photos with their photographer, Jamie Y and then met back up with everyone later. They brought candles, candle holders, a few disco balls and a custom board with playing cards for guests to sign for the space. They also cut a retro themed heart cake and Beth changed into playing card themed cowboy boots!

“If there’s one thing we’d change about weddings it would be the expectation that you have to invite every person”, Beth concluded. “We had a lot of family and friends who weren’t invited due to it being a destination wedding. However, it can be really challenging to block out the negativity that comes with this. We wish more people were more understanding of what we wanted as a couple. The people who did come with us had such an amazing time in Vegas. We are planning on going back for our one year anniversary and I know some of our friends and family will also be returning to explore more of the city. The whole experience was more than just our wedding, it was truly life changing.”
