For over 18 years, Rock n Roll Bride has existed to celebrate creativity, individuality, and honesty in weddings. We’ve never chased trends or played the popularity game, and we never will. This manifesto is our line in the sand, what we stand for, what we promise you and what we stand against. As the world feels like its going even more mad, as the wedding industry gets even more expensive to work in and be a couple in, we felt it was a good time to remind you exactly what we do – and don’t – stand for.

To Wedding Suppliers

We will never:

❌ Contact you about being on a “best of” list and then sneak in last minute that it’ll cost you £2k.
❌ In fact, have a “best of” list at all – everyone’s different and no single vendor’s style makes them ‘better’ than anyone else.
❌ Promise we can “guarantee” you a certain number of bookings. That’s marketing BS, and nothing is ever guaranteed.
❌ Send you fake enquires or leads (ew).
❌ Buy thousands of fake followers just to get 200 views on a post.
❌ Pretend to care about inclusivity or sustainability just to tick a box.

Here’s what we will do:

🔥 Be upfront and honest about our pricing – paying for advertising isn’t a dirty secret, it should be a critical part of your marketing plan.
🔥 Include free social mentions, story shares, marketing advice and shout-outs when you advertise with us.
🔥 Offer genuine editorial opportunities – anyone can submit their real weddings, shoots, or essays for possible publication – there is no pay-to-play gatekeeping here!
🔥 Give priority promotion to our paying advertisers – fair’s fair. You support us, and we’ll support you right back.
🔥 Champion small, indie, and creative businesses doing things differently.
🔥 Keep our focus on real connection and building our community, not follower counts.

To Couples Planning a Wedding

We will never:

❌ Budget-shame you.
❌ Tell you what your wedding should look like.
❌ Push you to buy things you don’t need.
❌ Pretend there’s a ‘right’ way to get married.
❌ Feature only one type of couple, one type of body, or one type of love.

Here’s what we will do:

🔥 Encourage you to spend YOUR budget on what YOU actually care about for YOUR wedding.
🔥 Show you weddings that are personal and creative, not perfect.
🔥 Celebrate diversity, creativity, and the beautiful magic of doing it your way.
🔥 Keep our advice real, inclusive, and grounded in love and joy.
