Whether you want retro kitsch, desert drama, or a quickie with flair, Vegas has you covered. One of the best things about getting married in Vegas is the freedom. You actually don’t need a chapel or specific wedding venue at all; you could get married on the street if you wanted to! But if you are looking for a tried and true space that will be used to working with alt couples like you, here are our favourites:
Sure Thing Chapel
A kitschy, retro‑pinch of vintage Vegas heaven. Known for their female Elvis, Surely the Showgirl and Hellvis officiants, Sure Thing Chapel is the perfect chapel for couples who want something fun, inclusive, and brimming with personality. There’s even a real film photo booth in the lobby which you can use too!
In fact, Sure Thing Chapel is so popular, they’ve opened a second location, two doors down, called Sure Thing Too! It still has the same vintage, kitsch vibe, just a blue theme rather than pink!.

That Chapel Downtown
A modern, minimalist chapel nestled in the Arts District. Sleek, versatile, and perfect for ceremonies up to 50 guests. That Chapel Downtown is ideal for couples drawn to contemporary design, or who want to customise the look of their location. They offer a number of different ‘sets’ which you can choose from to transform the space from blank canvas to full themed location! You can also have a full reception dinner here if you wish.

A Little White Wedding Chapel
The OG Vegas chapel since 1951, immortalised by celebrity quickies and its famed drive‑thru “Tunnel of Love”. A Little White Wedding Chapel is perfect for couples who want that iconic Vegas experience.

Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel
A full-spectrum venue offering themed ceremonies with officiants ranging from from superheroes, the Grim Reaper, Lady Gaga and so many more. The Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel has a number of different spaces too – the indoor chapel (which you can actually drive a car into and has smoke machines!) an outdoor gazebo, a garden chapel and a doo wop retro diner space.. This is the perfect chapel for creative, theatrical, or subculture-loving couples craving fun, flair, and full customisation for their ceremony.
One of the coolest parts? If you get married here they put your names up in lights on their enormous LED display right on Las Vegas Boulevard!

Hellbent Hitchings Chapel
Run by alt wedding officiant Hellbent Hitchings, this pop up chapel is it’s colourful and non-conforming by design. Hellbent Hitchings actually specialise in pop up ceremonies and have a number of other really rad spaces on their roster including a plant shop, a record store and a tattoo studio! Each space will be decorated for you with pre-styled set ups so all you have to do is show up!

The Punk Rock Museum
Where else can you get married in front of iconic rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia? The Punk Rock Museum is a fully immersive space lets you tie the knot surrounded by punk history, then party like it’s CBGBs. Ideal for die-hard music lovers and DIY romantics.

The Neon Museum
Vegas history meets art installation. Say your vows surrounded by salvaged neon signs from the city’s heyday. The Neon Museum has a separate gallery just for wedding ceremonies so your ceremony will be private even if when the museum is open to the public. It’s ultra-photogenic and at dusk all the lights are turned on which makes for incredible pictures!

Want to head a little outside the bright lights of the city and get married surrounded by the iconic desert landscape as your backdrop? Here are some options beyond the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas areas:
Nelson Ghost Town (Eldorado Canyon)
This abandoned mining‑town is an hour’s drive from the Strip and comes complete with rundown saloons, abandoned vintage cars and ghostly old west vibes. An elopement at Nelson Ghost Town can’t help but feel cinematic and it’s ideal for couples wanting post‑apocalyptic, boho, or gothic feel to their ceremony rather than bright neon lights.

Cactus Joe’s Blue Diamond Nursery
A quirky cactus garden centre and nursery, Cactus Joe’s has a garden chapel and uninterrupted views of the vast desert landscape. Perfect for botanical lovers, desert punks, and couples wanting intimate outdoor charm with serious alt‑cred.

Red Rock Canyon
Just 17 miles from the Strip, this Mojave Conservation Area features jaw‑dropping red‑stone canyons and sweeping desert vistas. Red Rock Canyon is popular for elopements and micro‑weddings under the open sky. Ideal for adventure seekers, earth lovers, and nature‑obsessed couples wanting big backdrops without big crowds.

Valley of Fire State Park
A surreal desert wonderland of fiery sandstone formations and ethereal light. This Valley of Fire is just crying out for sunset ceremonies with the landscape’s rich reds, oranges and golds. Even if you marry elsewhere, you should definitely schedule some time for a visit doing your trip. Its one of our favourite locations in the area and really has to be seen to be believed.
