If you’ve snagged a copy of our latest issue (and if not, what are you waiting for? We have only a few copies left!), you might have spotted the epic Wedding Singer inspired editorial we shot in Las Vegas inside. But after a whirlwind trip to Sin City, we needed a bit of post-glitz decompression, and Palm Springs was calling our name. Enter Acres Landing – a modern glamping resort that made the perfect antidote to the neon chaos of the strip.

Located about halfway between the iconic desert landscapes of Joshua Tree and the chic, mid-century modern vibe of Palm Springs, Acres Landing is a tranquil oasis that’s all about blending luxury with nature. The highlight? All the water for the baths, showers, and pool comes straight from the nearby mineral hot springs, making every soak a little spa moment.

If you’re dreaming of a relaxing escape after, say, a Vegas elopement or a festival weekend, this spot is the ultimate honeymoon hideaway. It’s quiet, peaceful, and ideal for catching up on some much-needed sleep (which we desperately needed after our nonstop adventure).

While this was a gifted stay for us, it’s genuinely a pretty budget-friendly option, with campers starting at just $179 a night. But don’t let the term ‘camping’ fool you – this is not roughing it. Each unit comes equipped with all the creature comforts: air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi, a queen-sized bed, a full bath (yes, a real one!), a proper toilet, and a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, cutlery, and a dinette table – perfect for relaxed breakfasts or a cozy dinner in.

With stunning mountain views, crisp desert air, and that unmistakable calm that only the desert can offer, Acres Landing is a gem of a getaway. Whether you’re planning a post-wedding wind-down, a mini-moon, or just a digital detox, it’s a vibe.
Would we stay again? Absolutely. In fact, we’re already plotting our next trip. Maybe we’ll see you there?
