pretty sure I don’t need to convince you of the fact that Etsy is one of the best places to look for stuff for your wedding. Whatever your theme, style or budget you are definitely going to find things you love and want to incorporate into your day on their site.
I’ve been buying from Etsy for as long as I can remember. I’ve bought everything from jewellery, homewares and clothing, and it’s one of the first places I look when I need to buy someone a gift. Gareth even got in on the action and ordered some art for his office recently! They really do have something for everyone.

Wedding items is where Etsy really shine though. You could literally deck your entire wedding out in items from Etsy sellers. From the dress and your accessories to the invites, the favours and all your decor, there really is no better place to find unique, personalised and handmade items. Plus, every person you’ll be buying from is a small or independent business owner. Wins all round!
This is my dream collaboration. Etsy asked me to pull together some items which I love from their sellers in order to shoot these images. Being a lover of all things pink, holographic and sparkly, putting together this little collection was a joy! Of course we all know that being a Rock n Roll bride is all about taking your own personal style and putting it into your wedding, well if I was to plan the decor for my own wedding now, I think it would look a little bit like this (and the gin is a no-brainer right?)

WIN £500 Worth of Goodies from SimplyBe
November 20, 2012
Now don't get me wrong, I love the British high street and I'm certainly not immune to the odd rummage through the rails... in fact it's a pretty regular occurrence. But I do have a bit of a gripe. Being the owner of a rather ample bosom and far from the size 8/10 that most stores seem to now label as medium (seriously?) it can be tough to find age-appropriate outfits that fit me really well. Which is why I whooped with joy when the lovely guys at SimplyBe got in contact asking if I'd like to run a competition to give one of my readers £500 worth of stuff. "Why yes, yes I would!" I replied with vigour!
SimplyBe are a leading high-street fashion retailer, based in the UK, that specialise in fashionable and flattering clothing for sizes 14-32. Each piece is designed with these sizes in mind - they're not created as a size 6/8 and then scaled up - oh no if you're a size 18 then a size 18 dress will be designed and cut to flatter your figure. I AM ECSTATIC.
Win a 1950s Inspired Wedding Dress from True Bride!
January 13, 2016
It's no secret that Rock n Roll brides love short, 1950s style prom wedding dresses. In fact I often think it is probably the style I'd wear if I was getting married again. Not only are they super duper flattering to nearly every body shape, but the short style gives some much needed sass to a wedding day ensemble!
When my friends at True Bride, who have just launched a fifties-inspired range, got in touch to ask if I'd like to give away one of the dresses from their brand new Brighton Belle collection, after sobbing a little that I couldn't be the one to win it, I jumped at the chance!
WIN 125 Mini Bottles and a Magnum of Freixenet Cava!
April 9, 2014
When Freixenet, the Spanish cava producers, got in touch to ask if I wanted to have a party on them, and share the results on my blog, I nearly fell off my chair. Talk about my dream job! Then they told me they also wanted to include the chance for my readers to win enough cava to keep their wedding rocking well into the wee hours and I almost did a backflip!
