Simone & Matt were married at the Historic Mission in San Diego.  Simone wore a Monique Lhuillier dress from and Christian Louboutin shoes.  After the ceremony all the guests headed over to the Prado restaurant at Balboa Park for an outdoor cocktail hour with hors d’ourves and live jazz.  Before entering the ballroom the couple entertained the guests with giant Bride and Groom pinatas which were attacked by kids and grownups alike.  There was no formal sit down dinner.  Instead guests were welcome to use the sushi bar and the mini kobe burger and fries bar.  Big band jazz and vocals entertained.  Later in the evening the band packed up and a DJ took over while a separate room was opened up with a taco bar and a ‘Tostitoes’ bar.

Indie Rock

Hello again you gorgeous creatures, I hope you didn’t miss me too much this weekend (although I was pretty rubbish at staying away – my phone kept me up to date quite nicely with Twitter and Facebook!)

I’m starting this week off with a bang, firstly with the adorably indie Leanne & Nate and their beyond perfect engagement session (helped along by Leanne’s amazing Betsey Johnson dress. I want!)  Photographer Noa has really been making waves in blog land over the last few months and as always it is my absolute pleasure to share this session that she sent me.

Stand by, hold onto your hats and behold the post of a million photos! Coined by photographer Noa as The Most Beautiful Wedding Ever (and yes, I pretty much agree!) Zola & Derick’s wedding pretty much lives up to the hype left by their adorable engagement session shot at their home earlier this year.

ps Zola’s vintage dress (from Etsy) makes me want to cry it’s so beautiful…

As many of you will be more than aware, I am a ridiculously massive fan on Noa of Feather Love Photography and so it would seem is the whole of blog land! I have seen her photographs being featured all over the shop which makes me even more grateful that she still wants little me to feature her work.

Boudoir shoots are certainly becoming more and more the norm nowadays. They are almost part of the package now – engagement shoot, boudoir shoot, bridal shoot, wedding day, day after shoot…

Warning the photographs after the jump contain nudity and may not be safe for work!
