Ahh Lily and Claribell's wedding brings us so much joy!! They were married at My Moon Restaurant in Brooklyn and although they had just $5000 to spend their day was beautiful and so right for them! The theme was a combination of keeping things simple and intimate but with rustic and romantic touches. They wanted to celebrate their day with their closest loved ones and avoid anything to formal or fancy.

Rebecca and Tom had an unusual inspiration for the theme of their wedding day - their own house! “We got engaged in our ‘blue room’,” explained Rebecca, “which is a deep teal and we’ve decorated it with copper accents. We then went wedding venue shopping and saw Wylam Brewery in Newcastle had similar features to our house - blues and greys, parquet flooring, industrial decoration. Tom was also keen to use as much wedding stuff in our house afterwards and because Wylam is a similar age and style to our house, we wanted to make wedding features and decoration that would look fitting in both.

Zara and Alex didn't want a big fancy wedding, so they decided to just have an intimate legal ceremony with a few witnesses and their baby daughter present. Following this was a pit stop at the groom's tattoo shop for some matching ink, and from the bride's point of view they were done. However, the groom had other ideas though, and he secretly planned a big garden party for all their loved ones in his mum's back garden

A decade after they were set up on a blind date, Chris and Stephen married in a Pagan ceremony at The Hamlet Court Hotel in Meath, Ireland on 3rd May 2019. As they are both musicians and go to a lot of concerts together, they wanted a lot of musical influence over the day. Chris originally wanted to get married outdoors, like a 'real Pagan', so they tried to have some woodsy touches too to bring the outside in - and so their weird and wonderful wedding theme was formed!

There is SO MUCH you're going to love about Helen and Joel's bright and eclectic wedding... least of all the incredible burlesque (boy-lesque!) performance that was a total surprise for the bride and groom! They were inspired by all the things that love the most: Colour, Star Wars, beer and crafts, and they did oodles of DIY. From the paper flowers to the bouquets, the flower wall to the custom stationery and signs, all of it was homemade.

Deidra Wilson

They met a decade ago while Lacey was bartending on a slow night. She was reading The Encyclopaedia of Serial Killers and Austen struck up a conversation about it while ordering a beer. When returned to his friends, she noticed he’s left his number on a napkin and although this has happened to her before, he was the first one she ever wanted to follow up with! They became friends first, bonding of their mutual love of horror and anything spooky. They’d get together regularly to watch scary movies, but only as friends. Then, a few years later, on a road trip to Vegas it became more than that… And the rest, as the old cliché goes, is history.

The Quirky

Publishing real weddings is my favourite. I love to read their stories, hear all about their celebration and swoon over their creative ideas! So, when I first found out this was a shoot, and not a real elopement, I was a tad disappointed. However it turns out that models Aida and Ismeal are a real couple, and the emotions you see in these INCREDIBLE pictures are 100% real... even if they didn't officially get hitched. Good enough for me! These photos, by the super talented French photographic duo Beatrice and Jeremie aka The Quirky, are out-of-this-world stunning. Of course we had to publish them!!
