The main references for Christie and Kevin's wedding were The Shining, the 1970s and 1990s with lots of ideas pulled from Rock n Roll Bride magazine! Kara and Ed’s Melbourne wedding was stitched together by their own hands. Every detail was pulled from their own creativity and a desire to create a day with retro heart and style. The bride made her veil, customised her shoes, and sewed velvet banners with their favourite love song lyrics on them. She even turned fake jellies into glowing centrepieces. They picked their own flowers on a farm, cooked the food themselves, and designed the whole thing around a bold pink and red palette with splashes of green.
