For nearly a decade, Berlin-based bridal label Ritual Unions has built a following around exposed corsetry, sheer layers and silhouettes that are soft yet strong. Now founder Karin Brettmeister is taking that world in a new direction with the launch of CEREMONY, the brand’s first ready-to-wear bridal collection.

Designed for shorter lead times, the three-look collection keeps the emotional tension Ritual Unions is known for while stripping away some of the formality traditionally attached to bridalwear. The pieces are built for movement and versatility rather than rigid ideas of what a wedding dress should be.

The Ceremony dress combines a ethereal soft tulle gown with a dropped waist corset. Crafted in layers of flowing soft tulle, the silhouette feels light, ethereal, and effortlessly feminine.

The Ceremony mini is a short lace-trimmed dress with a handkerchief hem, and can be paired with a detachable tulle skirt, to give you the option to shift between silhouettes throughout the day.

But our favourite has to be the Ceremony corset, a Victorian-inspired lace corset top, which pairs beautifully with the Ceremony skirt, a chiffon skirt with cascading draping. These pieces are perfect for convertible styling and can easily be mixed and matched with items from their previous collections (such as the Re:birth corset which we are completely enamoured with!)

There are also gloves, a scarf and crystal and ostrich feather top available in the range too.

Available online and through their Berlin showroom, the move into ready-to-wear marks a practical shift for the brand. The collection has a four-week production and delivery timeline with international shipping available, making Ritual Unions more accessible to couples working with shorter planning windows, or not based in Germany.

So, if you’ve been looking for a bridal look that feels edgy yet romantic, alternative but not obvious, then there really is no comparison. Ritual Unions has spent years carving out this modern, rebellious space and now its even more accessible.

The collection is available to order now through ritual-unions.com and in the Berlin atelier and showroom. Rock n Roll Bride readers can also get 10% off at Ritual Unions (yes, even their couture pieces!) using the code ROCKNRITUALUNIONS when ordering online or by mentioning Rock n Roll Bride when purchasing in store.
