Win Your Groomsmen Accessories from Le Colonel Moutarde!

Sélec - Le Colonel Moutarde x R&R Bride l Karimage-16

Le Colonel Moutarde, a family run business hailing from France, was launched when co-founder Remi stated looking for quirky, patterned bow ties for himself. He struggled to find anything he liked so he decided to make his own! With a passion for sewing passed on by his grandmother, it was the obvious solution.

His creations were so popular with his friends and family, that he and his partner Clémence decided to launch the business with the help of her younger brother Valentin. Today Le Colonel Moutarde is proud to boast the largest collection of bow ties in France (they also sell pocket squares, braces and cufflinks). They also have physical stores in Paris, London and Lille, where they still hand make all of their products.

This bow tie would match perfectly with our May wedding! My groom and I will be wearing all sorts of pink shades and of course flowers all over the place to celebrate beautiful May and the blooming of the new flowers of the year. I fell in love with it and even if I don’t win I will be purchasing this for our special day! Love all the work 💜http://www.lecolonelmoutarde.com/en/bow-tie/pink-bow-tie-eloise-88.html

We have two best men and two groomsmen altogether for our September wedding and I really wanted to get them bowties! I would totally go for the Navy Blue June’s Meadow Liberty Bow Tie. It matches the bridesmaid dresses with the grey and includes the grooms favourite colour, orange.

Either that or the Grey with Pin Dots Bow Tie (to match the pooch’s wedding outfit, haha)

    Beaut!

I love them all! I think the Japanese fabrics are my favorite, and the listing for a baby bow tie captured my heart. Our nephew is turning 2 next month and a bow tie might be the only thing that could make him more adorable than he already is.

We love the burgundy Phoenix and burgundy asanoha bow ties! Our (very loose) colour scheme is nudey-blushy-goldy with splashes of burgundy so these would be perfect for the groomsmen- we’re just on a mission for a burgundy velvet jacket for the groom!

Absolutely adore the aqua betsy liberty print bow tie! Would love to get this for my HTB, along with the matching pocket square. It’s fun and untraditional which is definitely the vibe we are going for, and great to see someone making original and fashion forward attire for grooms! And the teal and turquoise colours match the accent colours (along with burnt orange) that we are using to decorate our venue, from some beautiful engagement prints I bought for my partner that we are going to use to decorate the pub for the reception!

It would have to be some of your gorgeous floral collection! Literally too many to choose from!!! Stunning!! X

I’m not much for bright and flashy. I’d rather have something that would compliment the whole outfit. That said I really like the Navy Blue Chambrey. That would pull my suit together very nicely. It would compliment the deep blue and small white dotted shirt and my herringbone vest really pulling the whole thing together.

Definitely the orange capel liberty bow tie. We’ve got orange accents and it would go perfectly with my bright orange shoes!

My partner is having six groomsmen and we don’t have an enormous budget, so mismatching suits with a matching tie is how we’re hoping to make an impact. Le Colonel Moutard, your collection is perfect. We’re going to have blue accents so I’m drawn to the light blue ‘June’s Meadow’, but I’d love it if they went a bit wild with the ‘Cavendish’ Liberty print!

We’re going monochrome, so I’d get the black chambray bowtie! The yellow ones are so sunny and cheerful though…!

For our 50s diner themed wedding, I would definitely have to buy our groomsmen the “white spots on red” bow ties and matching pocket squares. I would also get my bridesman the turquoise striped bow tie and pocket square to match my bridesmaid colours.

I would be very tempted by the Red Chambray Bow Tie or the Boutons de manchette June Meadow Marine cufflinks! 🙂 Xx

  15. Leanne

I would buy the Navy Blue Dragonfly Japanese set – bowtie, cufflinks etc. etc. We got engaged in Japan and so it would be a lovely nod to that special holiday!

Love this shop, exactly what we are after…

I would buy something orange-y, the tangerine with polka dots is looking particularly good. And something nice and colourful for the two best men too possibly!
