With a bride who’s obsessed enough with horses to get three of them tattooed as a chest piece, photographer
Catalina Jean knew what the starting point for her next styled bridal shoot had to be. “Ginny and Jack are having an indoor wedding this next winter so I brought up the idea of doing a bridal session at a fun outdoor location on a day with nice weather”, she explained.
“While I helped them a bit with the location choice it is a completely real bridal session they are using for their Save The Dates. Most of the shoot was me turning around and they were just doing adorable, in love things. It was definitely one of my most fun shoots to date.”
Ginny’s stunning gold dress was ‘Screen Siren’ by Badgley Mischka which they borrowed from Rent The Runway ( such a great website to trawl if you’re after a designer dress for just one event by the way!) and the flowers were provided by Swoon Floral Design .

A Very Non Wedding: Whit & Colby
September 3, 2012
As a girl who's more than slightly obsessed with weddings and photography, there's pretty much nothing more thrilling to me than discovering new (to me) wedding photographer that is INCREDIBLE. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does I feel like I've won the wedding-blogging-lottery. And don't even get me started on what happens when I discover a videographer with as much talent as this. Actual tears people, there were actual tears.
Flower Beard Bridals with Harnaam Kaur
June 30, 2015
Harnaam Kaur has polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which meant she started growing a beard from aged 11. Battling to remove her hair every day, and bullied at school, she started to self harm and considered suicide. Harnaam is now a body-confidence and anti-bullying activist and she fully embraces her unique look and hopes to encourage others to do the same. So when this bridal shoot using Harnaam as the model was submitted to me I nearly jumped out of my skin with excitement!

I wanted to create a look that would appeal to and inspire my clients so I set about this little collaboration with some wonderfully talented wedding peeps."
A Trailer Trash Bridal Shoot with a Vintage Airstream
August 25, 2012
"Ever since I spent time travelling from Nashville to San Francisco last Autumn, I've benn obsessed with wanting to recreate vintage Americana!" wrote stylist Lynsey Le Keux. "This summer I had the pleasure of making it happen. I got together with some serious wedding industry talent including Sassy of Assassynation and Jo of The Couture Company. Our theme was 'trailer trash chic' which basically meant coney neck beers, dust-caked American cars, sweat smudged make up and broad blue skies. The aim was to portray unique bridal beauty against a backdrop of pure gritty trash... We wanted to inspire bridal styling outside of tradition and show our customers that they don't have to follow convention to rock a wedding - bridal beauty is subjective and one thing all the collaborators agreed on was how much we loved customers who did things their way."
