Their website couldn’t be easier to use. Their simple ‘live entertainment search’ function allows you to hunt by location, price, style and date availability. They even have some of their entertainers categorised into their ‘premier range‘ or ‘low cost bands‘ so you can browse within your budget if you’re not really sure what it is you’re looking for yet. The prices of all the acts are listed on the site so they’ll be no nasty surprises when it comes to dropping your favourites an enquiry.

I was literally just discussing wedding gifts with my partner as I opened this post. We decided we didn’t want people to waste money on gifts that may never be used. This is perfect!

Brilliant idea and basically what we are planning. It’s worth knowing that Co-op Travel also offer Honeymoon Accounts which your guests can pay directly into so they know every penny will go towards your trip.

This is the site we’re using…thought where I’m from it’s the ‘done’ thing to have a wishing well/honeymoon fund instead of a gift registry.

Asking for money as a wedding gift is quite normal in my country (Costa Rica). Most couples already have the basic house things, pots, pans, linens, etc. So, inside the wedding invitation, guests find a little card with the wedding registry and the bank account of the bride or groom for gift deposits. Money gifts are often used to pay for a significant house item, like a new dining room or living room set. Plus, there’s another registry for the bachelorette party, which is, most of the times, kitchen and houseware, so all bases are covered!
