Kirenia & Matt’s Rockin’ South Beach Wedding
April 6, 2011
After attending many formal and traditional weddings, Kirenia & Matt decided that they wanted something different for their own. They wanted be themselves – to have fun and dance all night long rather than having a fancy sit-down wedding. They both love rock music and dancing and so wanted to reflect this in their day.
Kirenia found her perfect dress 3 years before the wedding at
Belinda’s Designs Couture in South Beach. They had to postpone the wedding when Kirenia fell pregnant with their daughter but even after all that time, she knew that was only one dress for her.
Thank you to Kirenia & Matt and their photographer Karen Lisa for sharing this rockin’ wedding with us today.

The ‘Maritime Goth’ Themed Wedding of Jessica & Winston McCall
September 29, 2014
When wedding photographer Matt Miller emailed me to tell me he'd shot the wedding of Winston McCall, lead singer of Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, and asking if I'd like to feature it, I nearly fell off my chair. "Er... stupid question!" I replied, "OF COURSE!" He married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, in beautiful Byron Bay on May 11th this year.
Regula & Bruno’s Creative, Spooky & Wonderful Wedding (Part One)
July 4, 2011
"Regula & Bruno rock my world"...that's how photographer Assassynation introduced me to this bad ass couple when she sent me their wedding. The pair are from Belgium but wanted to be married in England. Their ceremony day was followed by a tea party reception and spooky photo shoot in an abandoned fairground (!) in their home country a few weeks later. Luckily for us all, this second part took place just last weekend and believe me, I'm going to be featuring it just as soon as the photos are ready!
But for now, it's all about the ceremony...

Regula & Bruno’s Afternoon Tea Party Reception (Part Two)
August 10, 2011
Remember Regula & Bruno's spooky Rye wedding? Well they're back, not once but twice today! I'm kicking of this Wednesday morn' with the Belgian leg of their wedding and this afternoon I'll be sharing their creepy wedding portraits taken at an abandoned fairground! Originally from Belgium the couple were keen to have a tea party reception in their home city for all their friends & family that didn't come over to the UK for their ceremony.
Writer Regula told me all about their tea party. "We knew what we wanted to do for our wedding reception immediately. Because we were getting married in England we wanted our friends from Belgium to feel like they were in the UK. We decided we were going to do a Wedding afternoon tea."
Coastal Cornish Wedding: Betty & Johnny
Dot and Lucy
May 24, 2013
I'm not really supposed to have favourites, but Betty might just be one of the most beautiful and radiant brides I've ever seen... I am totally smitten with her 1940s vintage lace dress (bought on eBay for £40!) and that adorable white faux flower crown and simple bouquet combo. Total perfection. She married Johnny in Cornwall during April and the wedding only cost £5000.
