Maura & John’s slightly damp, slightly vintage and more than slightly gorgeous engagement session is totally inspiring! I love how they incorporated the things they love into the shoot – they collect old schwinn bikes, love going for bike rides and are crazy about all things vintage/retro/antique so they used some antique china for a mini picnic setting. Cuteness.

Tommy & Meredith are so damn cute n cool that it hurts! I am dying over their simple but perfect engagement session and their matching red and black checks are way-too-adorable. Both artists, it was obvious that they’d have to do something super creative for their engagement session. It just so fun and natural!

I’m so lucky that I get to feature some of the craziest, most alternative and tattoo-gorgeous weddings out there. It’s one of the biggest pleasures of my job! However, occasionally a wedding that may not be the most ‘Rock n Roll’ will hit me between the eyes and give me just as much joy. Tanya & Christan’s Boat Club ‘Love Boat’ wedding at Molesey Boat Club on the Thames has such a simple, love-filled emotion that I couldn’t help but feature.

Julie & John got married in September 2008 at Luss Pier in Loch Lomond, Scotland. Although originally from Manchester, they chose this location as it was perfect for their ideal wedding – small and intimate – with only about 30 of their closest friends and family. They hired a boat from Sweeney’s Cruises where they had their ceremony and drinks. Afterward they walked along the beach to the Lodge on Loch Lomond where they had their meal and the rest of their evening.

Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
