My wonderful friend Marianne Taylor emailed me excitedly the other day to let me know she had just shot a wedding that she knew I would love…and oh do I!? Aren’t those portraits just phenomenal? And don’t even get me started on the shots of Caroline and her floaty-light dress at the end!
“I’m so happy to finally be able to blog about Caroline & Ben’s beautiful London wedding. There are so many things I loved about this wedding, from Caroline’s stunning Jenny Packham gown and headpiece, to the gorgeous Market Suite at the Fox & Anchor where Caroline and the girls were getting ready, through to the beautiful ceremony at Islington Town Hall and reception at The Crypt. There was a real London feel about this wedding, and I loved the fact that when we went for a little portrait shoot with Caroline and Ben after the ceremony, we just hailed a black cab. When in London…”
Thanks to Marianne for sharing this faaaabulous day with us

I’m getting married in a Jenny Packham dress soon, this makes me sooo excited! Really beautiful wedding.

Oh darn it they’ve got heels. From the angle I thought they were flats but I clicked through to Marianne’s website and seen they’ve got heels. Oh well back to the searching. And looked through the picture which I forgot to do in my excitement over the shoes. Love the one of them in the car so lovely.

The shoes are from M&S and cost a total of £24. They do have heels though, but only mini ones…

Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
