Thanks for bringing such a fresh spin on the business of getting married. This industry has come a long way since I got married. Celebrating year #9 TODAY in fact
…almost wishing we could do it again but I think our wedding was pretty rock-n-roll even back then.Again…love your stuff! You are really inspiring to me as a new photographer!

Thanks for spending so much time, love and effort on a beautiful and inspirational site – sad confession of a second time around 42 year old Bride to Be, but your blog has become my “must read” of the day rather than news and work (ssssh……) Inspirational – and keep it up … I am still trying to find something kinda lovely for cakes, not cupcakes and not mad multicoloured towers….so any pointers would be lovely…

hi, just discovered this little haven today. I’m staring down the barrel of a second time around wedding. at the grand old age of 31 it’s not proving easy, everyone assumes if it’s the second time around you must be in your 40s or 50s and you must either want to wear an evening dress or a cream suit so it’s proving a challenge to find decent inspiration that doesnt assume that a) Daddy is paying and b) i want to look like a princess.
i have a little more confidence than first time around so will make sure that the wedding is about us. at the moment trying to figure out a way to involve our race bikes
as we met doing our first (motor)bike race at Brands Hatch in 2007.keep up the good work!

As a former punker in the 80′s and a film event maker for the last 16 years in Los Angeles, I can honestly say, I’ve had to bite my lip having been exposed to too much fluffiness and cookie cutterness in the wedding industry. Although I respect each of my bride’s choices, inside, I have made mental notes of how my own wedding will have more edge, vintage and rock and roll feeling! There are so many ways to think outside the box, (the coffin) and I have a renewed hope for the possibilities of my own wedding one day!! This site is refreshing and brings me back to my roots!!

I lovelovelove your blog!! Great ideas on this site!

Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
