I really love your site, it’s such a breath of fresh air to log on everyday and see weddings for like minded people. We are getting married next year and my ultimate goal is to be featured on your site! Hopefully my wedding will be funky enough for here…watch this space?! But in the mean time keep up the fab work and I will keep getting my daily fix of uniqueness.

Hi Kat,
Very impressed with the last lot of images I saw down in Whitstable with the beach huts.
I had already planned a shoot for next year when I came across yours.
I thought how bizarre, as i holiday in Whitstable and my Cup cake shoot on with beach huts and lots of candy colours will go down a treat. If this shoot works, I will be adding it to my customer ideas, for portfolio packages.
Love your write up in Photo Pro and will keep following you on here now.

I wish I had this kind of site when I got married 15 years ago… actually I wish I had the internet back then….
My husband and I eloped to the local registry office with our best mates, and rode away with me on the back of his motorbike. We avoided the whole ceremony thing because we didn’t want to stick with tradition, and back then the world certainly wasn’t as liberal and accepting as it is now.
Great Site -
Hi Kat. I suspect I am not your usual visitor having reached the age of 59 and only started photography nine months ago. However not long after starting up I found your articles in PhotoPro mag and was inspired by one of the first wedding photographers you covered – Jonas Peterson – whose site I now regularly visit. Anyway having watched everyone you have covered in the last nine months has really helped and I have had a fantastic first year – 1 year anniversary in March! So many thanks for the hard work!
Regards

Hi Kat,
I found out about you through your column in Digital Photo Pro and when I got asked to photography a friends wedding (having been through the “are you sure you want me to do it?” discussion) I paid more attention to your articles. As well as the site being an inspiration I loved the article you did on Nicole Polk and the Broke Ass Bride. What an inspiration and I hope it made the think outside the box yesterday at the wedding. As I sit here waiting for the photos to back up before I begin sorting through them I just had to write and thank you for a great site. I’ll still be reading you site and If I get any more wedding work out of this one then it’s going to be down to the help and inspiration you’ve helped provide.

The great thing about your blog is the complete and utter attention to detail. The shots you use are generally styled absolutely beautifully but at the same time have accessible details that brides can use themselves. It’s not just for the rich girls – the ideas go across the board.
You’re also very clever in that you’re one step ahead of the crowd, you’re finding trends when nobody else has even thought about them. Quirky and original but never too OTT!
Keep it up, you brighten my reading days!

Hey Kat,
I have just discovered Rock’n'Roll Bride, and so pleased I have!!! This is perfect as me and my fiance don’t necessarily want a ‘traditional’ wedding. I have so many ideas already and this site is helping me not to get too carried away. But… if anyone can help, we are finding it hard to find a venue. We live in Dorset, and want a civil creemony followed by a party in teepee marquees. We have alot of guest because of my large family. We just cant seem to find a venue of which will conduct the ceremony and will have the land for our teepee’s. If anyone has any ideas please HELP! xxx
