The best thing about blogging has got to be all the amazing people I have met and the second best thing has to be when those amazing people not only want to work with me but want to give you something too! Today’s day of ruffles is culminating in the best of the lot! Oh yes, Michi Calica of Toccata specialises in stunning bridal fashion, accessories and florals which she sells from her beautiful Etsy Store.

    Her shop is unbelievable… I’m pretty sure I just died! My favorite is the absolutely stunning Mignonne Lace Wedding Dress. All I can say is… Oh. My. God! *sigh*

    It has a beautiful, vintage feel to it. I don’t know if she actually used vintage lace to make it, but it is just absolutely gorgeous! I love all of her creations, but I’m a second-time bride, 30 years old, and the floaty, petal ballgown skirt isn’t something I think I could carry off… this dress I could though!

    Well… I don’t know what to say, I’m gobsmacked! it so pretty!!! and ruffley, and just simply oozes loveliness!

    Girlie girl is something that would NEVER be used to explain me. Stylish sure, vintage, absolutely, Frilly and Girlie….NOT. I don’t do pearls, or lace or florals

    Yet I have an amazingly strong pull to the Toccata site. I can only assume it’s the details and the styling that really grabs hold of my attention. Pair these beautiful pieces with something a little more rough for wear would be such an amazing combination.

    I’ll take much of anything on the site (especially the white orchid bolero) but I wouldn’t want the pearls. Like I said. I don’t do pearls.

    i’ve been looking for a bolero to wear over my plain halter wedding dress… I didn’t have the money in my budget to buy a nice elaborate dress… and this is something that i think would give my dress the extra kick it needs to be something original. i’m gonna have to get myself measured up and order one of these, because it is really amazing and bold and all the things i needed to make my outfit POP on my wedding day.

    Michi’s work just screams elegance and class, but at the same time still feels unique and special. I love the bolero – it’s classy and sassy and would look fabulous with any dress, especially one of her own creation!!
