Raw Photo Design certainly know how to rock a trash the dress session. I will always go crazy for a Bride as glamorous as Candice in a derelict or deserted location..there is something about the contrast and decay that I can’t help but know you Rock n Roll Brides will love.
Photographer Eric’s wife Amber even send me a behind the scenes video of the shoot, captured by Tom Morlock of Paradigm Digital Video. I am a lucky lucky blogger!
Terri & Sebastian eloped in Barcelona, just the two of them plus David McNeil the photographer (click here for the photographs) and Claire McDonnell the make up artist…here are their vows to each other.
What is it with all the videos nearly making me cry today?! I was under the impression my cold shell was impenetrable!
David was also featured on Wedding TV last Saturday and I totally forgot to share the link…go see him talking about his work, in particular Terri & Sebastian’s wedding here (approx 26 minutes in) Plus try to spot the me & husband as models in some of the photographs shown…hint my hair is brown!
This may possibly be my favourite wedding video ever, because not only do the people in it seem like the kind of people I would love to hang out with and the whole wedding looks like it was a blast, but because the video just made me happy! I felt like I was watching the opening of a movie I had been dying to see for ages.
The video begins with a introduction from the Groom over scenes of the wedding (who by the way, has one of those amazing voices that just beg to be listened to) which then merges into what I can only liken to the the opening of a really amazing film. I actually wanted to get up and dance while I was watching this!
The Bride, Kate is going to send me her wedding photographs too, which I can’t wait to share, but I just had to get this video out there straight away. Seriously, you guys rock!
I think you’re going to like this grungy photo shoot and video sent in by Mark Parker…just remember when it comes to the photographs that are going to help you remember your wedding, don’t be a fearful Bride – be a fearless Bride (OK so now I officially hate myself for actually writing that cheesiness, but you get what I mean right?!)
Super 8 video is a format that has always intrigued me. It’s beauty and rawness gives me the same tingle of excitement as Polaroid. However the sad thing is that it seems like this beautiful art form that is, like Polaroid, slowly dying out. But rejoice! London based company Reel 60 are taking steps towards changing that. Their super 8 short films are touching, inspirational and retro in it’s purest form.
OK, maybe I’m guilty of rambling a bit here, but I am just a little bit over-excited to share a couple of their videos with you. Maybe a lot of you won’t have seen any Super 8 movies before…and you really should you know!
