A Day In The Life

As soon as these images landed in my inbox early this morning I was desperate to blog them right away! First off the couple are ridiculously beautiful (but that, of course, goes without saying), secondly I have never seen such a gorgeous set of images where it is just the two of them, no barriers, no props, just the newlyweds being themselves. In fact I’m not even sure I’ve ever seen an ‘in bed’ style shoot used as part of a day after session. I love it. The photographs are so intimate and so personal yet done in such as way that there is no element of sleaze…I don’t even feel voyeuristic looking at them They really are just art. Art and love.

We then move onto the bulk of the shoot, where living in Odessa, Texas (a place where there is apparently ‘nothing ‘) doesn’t seem to have made these images anything less than breathtaking. The train, the graffiti, the river, the tree. The gorgeously intimate style continues only this time with a back drop that tantalises the senses all by itself.

If this isn’t enough for you, then be sure to check out the couple’s wedding too!

A huge thank you to Chelsea for sending me these exclusive shots (oh yes, exclusives make me happy!)

Candy Coloured Cuteness

Maria of Squaresville Studios has the kinda style I love – she adores candy coloured cuteness just like me. She ran a contest on her site entitled ‘Bride with pink shoes rock’ and Sally was the obvious winner as she wore pink Converse on her wedding day. Sally’s gorgeous birdcage veil was made by Tara To The T, her make up was done by Holly Evans and Marlena Isbell was responsible for her faaaabulous 50’s style hair do. I am also going a little bit nuts over those cotton candy walls!

Thanks to Maria of from Squaresville Studios for sending me these sunny, neon , happy happy shots.

Dixie Pixel

Its hard for me to pick only a few images from Dixie Pixel’s website..even just limiting myself to one wedding proved too difficult for words. I kept scrolling down the page and seeing more more more I love love love…and this is possibly the most photographs I’ve posted in one blog post! I usually try to limit myself to 5 or 6 images per post but sorry not today…

The photographer behind all this porn is Tara Kneiser. She emailed me to tell me how much she loved my blog (woot woot) and also to give me some extra info about her photographs. The last 3 (grainy) of these photos (flipping gorgeous!) was actually shot on film (big it up – so was our wedding). I love the grainy rawness of it all. They were taken with a Holga Camera, which retails for about $30.00 – how awesome is that!?

So in conclusion…Tara, Rock and Roll Bride salutes you – bloody marvelous! Now can we see some photographs of your own tattooed wedding now..pretty pleeeeese?
