Blaine & Shanni didn’t have a day after shoot, but after two years of marriage decided it was about time to do so and who better to shoot them but Shanni herself – she is after all the most rock n roll photographer they know. The couple love to go for Sunday drives and Shanni had always wanted to shoot a couple at this dried up riverbed, so why not us?! she told me – why not indeed.

Whoa sexy mamma! A boudoir shoot with a rock n roll edge? I likey. The Bride who sent these to me said her husband was ‘one happy rock star’when he saw them – I bet! I love the shots with the guitar but my absolute favourites have got to be the set in the damn gorgeous bright pink tutu – I’ve got to get myself one of those.
I don’t get to feature enough rockin’ boudoir shoots, if you’ve got one don’t be shy – send it my way.

I just got back from meeting out wedding photography competition winners with my friend and photographer David McNeil. Vana & Damien are even cooler in real life than they are on paper. We got on like a house on fire and spent about 2 hours chatting non-stop! I will blog all about it later (including photographs) but I just want to share some gorgeous gothic inspiration with you first (as always, too many gorgeous images to share not enough time!) Non-wedding, wedding inspiration can be just as inspiring as the bog standard stuff. For example, the ideas behind this fabulous ‘film noir’ style photo shoot by Emily Porter, could easily be transferred to an absolutely amazing engagement shoot, or even a wedding theme.
Keep the non-wedding submissions coming (no maternity shoots though please, I still can’t being myself to start posting baby-related stuff sorry hehe!)

Sorry my posting has been rather light today. Not only did I do a double-shift at work (oh Christ what on earth possessed me to say yes!?) but my computer has decided to be uuuber slow today…highly frustrating when you have so much to share!
Anyway, on to much nicer things….Oh my God do I love Tinywater! Caroline was keen to share this super sexy shoot with me and I am so excited to pass on the joy! This is one seriously sexy, fabulously photographed session…the lighting, the colour, the editing to make it look like you’re viewing them though cctv (naughty!)…it’s just totally Rock ‘n Roll Bride. In fact I have come to a conclusion, I wish that was me and Gareth in this shoot, I would love to have some photographs like this of us.
