Fresh & Fun with Vivienne Westwood Shoes

Anyone that knows me at all will be well aware than I have a bit of an obsession with these Vivienne Westwood/Melissa shoes. So, when photographer Kellie send me Carol’s bridals which had her wearing the very shoes I am totally smitten with (and own – I have the yellow and black ones too) well I couldn’t wait to feature! I am also crazy in love with her cute short birdcage veil and her Modern Trousseau gown.

Carol & Wilson’s wedding has been blogged in full today over at Ruffled Blog. Go check it out in all it’s fresh ‘n sunny goodness!

City Hall & The Seaport

Courtney & Jon got married at New York’s City Hall in February with just their baby with them. Afterwards they headed to The Red Lion in Greenwich Village for a few drinks and some photographs.

However this month they decided to have a big reception at Bridgewaters by the South Street Seaport to celebrate with all their friends and family. Courtney looks incredible in her modern J Crew ruffled dress and Miu Miu shoes- in fact so much so that someone stopped them in the street and asked if they were models or if they were actually getting married! The reception looks like it was a lot of fun – fake glasses, moustaches and lips never get tired!

Maria Lluïsa Rabell – Magical Dress Inspiration

This is not the usual post I put up but sometimes there are exceptions to be made. I received an email from reader Claire the other day who told me “I nearly died when I saw these dresses”. Hell, I can see why. Serious swoon-fest over here. I want them all!

The Barcelona-based designer Maria Lluïsa Rabell blends contemporary subtle lines and elegance with amazing technical flair and ability. Unique, out-there and original. Have you ever seen anything like these? They have such a magical, romantic feminine feel don’t they?

Pastel Pink Vintage Oscar de la Renta

I’ve got a fairytale Chilean wedding to kick of this Easter Monday for you today. Last weekend Francisca & Juan Pablo got married at the gorgeous Fundo San Miguel in Colina, Chile. Francisca wore a pastel pink, 80s (in a good way!) style vintage Oscar de la Renta gown which she matched perfectly with a pair of shoes she’d had forever! Juan Pablo rocked a bow tie like any good Rock n Roll groom!
