A Fusion Of Colour

I am dying to go to an Indian wedding one day, all the colour and drama..I love it! So when I found this Indian/Mexican wedding I know it’d be a good one!  Both cultures bring such a sense of their own tradition to this wedding, from the Bride’s awesome custom dress (Namrita had a piece of her Mother’s gold and fuchsia wedding sari sown into the side of her one-of-a-kind gown) to the Mexican-inspired wrought-iron canopy over the dance floor.
This is a truly unique wedding and I love it!

Namrita’s dress was designed and customised by Renella De Fina and the wedding was coordinated by Oh How Charming.

Colour Me Beautiful

I am loving this Bridal/Trash the Dress shoot by San Diego photographer Beki Dawn, not least because she said nice things about Rock n Roll Bride in her email to me (hehe I am fickle, you can defiantly flatter me to get your way!)
But also because I am all about the brightly coloured images (recently I have been much preferring colour to black & white photography, although years ago it used to be the other way round…interesting) Beki has the brightly coloured and textured images down to a T!

Loving your work!
(oh and loving the Bride’s shoes..I love shoes..it’s just a shame I can’t wear them myself for more than about 10 minutes before wishing I’d worn flats)

Summer Lovin’

Erin & Steve got married in Maui, Hawaii in February – I am loving the summery floral details, those cute paper parasols and hanging paper lanterns…super romantic!
Thanks for sharing Shelby & Rich!

Really Awesome Photos From The Most Amazingly Named Town Ever!

Wow..what a long winded title I have selected for this post…however I couldn’t resist I’m afraid.  These guys are from a place called Kalamazoo.  Now I’ve never heard of Kalamazoo but the name alone makes is sound like a flippin’ awesome place to live!

I have really been looking forward to sharing this awesome photoshoot with you all. Holly & Ryan are a husband and wife photography team who run a BreakFREE Photography workshop in Kalamazoo (seriously I want to go there!) Michigan
Head over to their blog for more info and gorgeous photographs.

OK enough of my silliness, let see those photographs! These images are the result of one of the workshops they held…amazing right?

Pink Flamingos!

I promised you I had more of Cameron Ingalls’ photography to share with you, and this wedding is sure not to disappoint.  From the pink parasol to the Martha Stewart pom poms and the pink flamingos(!), there’s nothing about this wedding I don’t absolutely adore!
There’s a little bit of Holga love in there too..I know some of you are massive fans…
