A Geeky, Offbeat, Tea Party, Country Engagement Shoot

I love featuring my friend David McNeil’s photography and I think his work definitely makes me cool by-proxy. David has really been shooting some fabulous work recently, his use of lighting and composition is second to none. I am proud to be his friend (you can pay me later hun!) and to share his work with you all.

Rosalie & Jamie actually discovered David through Rock n Roll Bride so I am even more chuffed than usual to share this shoot.  I am absolutely gaga over those shots with the heart shaped umbrella, I think I need one of those in my life! Check out David’s blog for more about this shoot and Rosalie’s uber cute ‘Geeky, Offbeat, Tea Party, Country’ wedding planning blog for more about this couple and their wedding plans.  Its defiantly going to be an awesome, quitenesially British (with a rocking’ twist) wedding!

Fearless Bride

I think you’re going to like this grungy photo shoot and video sent in by Mark Parker…just remember when it comes to the photographs that are going to help you remember your wedding, don’t be a fearful Bride – be a fearless Bride (OK so now I officially hate myself for actually writing that cheesiness, but you get what I mean right?!)

Marvelous Multi-Cultural Inspiration

As I’m sure you’re all aware, I always try to showcase weddings and photography you won’t have seen elsewhere which means sometimes heading outside the usual US/UK wedding fare whenever I can. I loved sharing all of mangoRED‘s amazing work (from The Philippines) and Jonas Peterson(from Australia) rocked my world.  I’m hoping to add Polish photographer, Bartek Woch‘s images to this illustrious list of marvelous multi-cultural inspiration.
I like to think of these as glamorous grunge…a bit rough around the edges but with a heart of magnificence – think Nirvana meets Marylin Monroe!
