Vintage Vegas

I’ve never been to Vegas and I’m not all together convinced I’d like the craziness, but when I see images like these I know it can’t be just one big city of sin. According to photographer Maria Mack, Las Vegas doesn’t have to be all bright lights, strippers, gambling and bachelor parties.

These beautiful, retro shots show Vegas in a much softer light, – one with cute heart signs and quirky vintage touches. Oh yes, this is a Vegas I could get on board with…

Thanks to Maria for showing me the diversity of a Las Vegas photo shoot!

Las Vegas – Post Apocalyptic Stylee

What would happen if we woke up tomorrow and there had been some kind of nuclear crisis over night? Hell, drive (or in my case fly) out to Vegas and enjoy the new scenery of course!

Mindy and Scott have actually been married for 6 years, but unhappy with their wedding photographs they decided to seek the help of photographer team Nick Adams to give them a shoot they’ll love forever.

Las Vagas Showdown

Have you been eagerly sitting by your computer waiting for the next installment of Teneisha & Chris’ crazy-gorgeous wedding extravaganza? I certainly have..every 5 minutes I’ve been checking my email to see if the rest of the photographs have been sent to me…sad? yes, yes I am.
Now if you thought their engagement shoot was to die for then you ain’t seen nothing yet!

I’m actually going to stop gabbing on about it and hand straight over to the couple who have described their wedding and their idea of what makes a rock n roll wedding absolutely perfectly…

The objective for our wedding, besides getting married, was about two things. The first was a goal that every single person have a completely kick ass time, including ourselves, and the second being that we would do things our way, no questions asked. We solved the “having fun” issue pretty easily by getting married on a Saturday evening, in Las Vegas; with a premium open bar and an excellent ipod play list. We served sushi and had chocolate covered strawberries instead of cake at our reception and had an open invitation after-party with a bathtub full of beer and debauchery that lasted until 5am.  We also encouraged people to get creative with the dress code, which produced a very colorful crowd.

I think that our Bride and Groom outfits helped to set the right mood as well.  I wore a vintage inspired, Sherri Hill polka dotted blue/gold/silver dress with all bright red accessories that I either made myself or bought from independent artists on etsy.com. I had the dress shortened from ballroom to tea length, which everyone tried to talk me out of and I’m so glad I didn’t listen! The groom wore crazy blue pants, suspenders, a fedora and an awesome bow tie that matched my dress perfectly.

You love this couple right? Yeah me too. Again, I can’t thank Teneisha & Chris’ and their wonderful photographer Holly Jones enough for sharing this amazing wedding with me!

Giddy With Bloggy Excitement

OK so I’m pretty much giddy with excitement over sharing this Las Vegas engagement session and wedding sent to me by photographer Holly Jones. Chronologically it makes sense to start with the engagements right? I am c-c-c-crazy about Teneisha’s pink dress and yellow shoe combo and of course the Neon Graveyard makes for a completely awesome backdrop. EEEK I can’t wait to show you the wedding later – she has the most gorgeous green, polka-dotted dress!

Thanks to photographer Holly and the Bride & Groom, Teneisha & Chris for sending me this ridiculously exciting set.
