Fairytale Hindu/ Sikh Wedding with a touch of Nightmare Before Christmas

Following an engagement overlooking beautiful, clear Croatian waters, Karampreet and Arun married in August 2019. Arun is from a Hindu background and Karampreet is Sikh, so as well as the western civil ceremony, they had a Hindu one with a Milni pre-ceremony ritual where the families greet each other. The day was a real fusion of cultures done in their own way!

Apart from a stunning florals around the bandstand, they let the venue do the talking in terms of decor, although they did sneak in a nod to Arun’s favourite film, A Nightmare Before Christmas, with their cake topper! 

Karampreet’s white dress was by Justin Alexander, bought via Supernova Bridal. “I went dress shopping with my sister who spotted the dress in a shop in Datchet. It was the second dress I tried on and I knew immediately it was the one for me as it made feel special. I felt like a princess in that dress, marrying the love of my life, like a real-life fairytale.” Arun used the opportunity to wear a tux for the first time, and their bridesmaids wore dresses from ASOS

A Simple Adventure: An Intimate Glencoe Elopement

Seema is a geologist, so when it came to planning her and Luke’s wedding they couldn’t think of any better place to be wed than in the wild outdoors, surrounded by nature and rocks! 

They wanted a simple, intimate experience for their wedding day so chose to elope to Glencoe in Scotland while they were on holiday in Europe. Sandwiched between adventuring around Ireland and Iceland in May 2019, they kept everything focused on using the beauty of their surroundings to capture some really unique photo opportunities!
