Dark, Luxe & Romantic Wedding on October 31st

Ashleigh’s love of all things witchy and gothic, combined with Scott’s obsession with horror movies led this pair down the path of hosting a dark and moody, offbeat October 2020 wedding day. The bride told us – “we joke about having a love like Gomez and Morticia, and the phrase ’til death do us part’ also shaped our wedding planning and became the slogan of our wedding.”

They held their ceremony and reception at the Intundla Game Lodge. Their ceremony was under a beautiful structure with streaming floral garlands and ribbons to protect them from the South African sun in the most beautifully bohemian way possible.

And if that entire sassy black underwear range isn’t in your online shopping basket by the time you’re done here, we need to have words.

Taking place at The Prettiest Pieces in Greensboro, North Carolina, this shoot aimed to show that bridal boudoir doesn’t have to be ‘all white and bright’, that it can be darker, moodier, and be just as beautiful. It’s all about rocking your individual style, no matter what that is, and proving wrong the assumptions that these things must look a certain way or they’re not ‘bridal’. Which is what we’re all about here, as you know!
