BBQ Bride

I feel my role in this post should be a minimal one, because after reading the Bride’s super informative and diy-tip friendly post about her wedding, I feel I would be stepping on her gold sandaled toes to re-hash her words!  (Oh and plus I am now super tired as I’ve been up since 4am…see posts below!)

So all I am going to add are these handy hints…diy, backyard bbq, cupcake, photobooth amazingness, tux t-shirts, short shift dress ($190 from here), mint lemonade, fruity centrepieces…Mmmm

Clicky here for a much more coherent post full of all the glorious details

Picnic Bride

Once Wed is one of my most favourite wedding blogs.  I especially love the real weddings posts (can you tell!?)…If you’re a fan out the outdoorys, backyard, hippy chic wedding, I urge you to clicky here and here to go check out more info on this amazing wedding she posted today (especially the Bride’s vintage embellished dress from her great-great-aunt!)

Some exciting news!  Jennifer from One Wed (Not to be confused with Once Wed!) has asked me to be a Rock n Roll guest blogger on her new blog, Savvy Scoop.  Stay tuned for more details!

Barefoot Bride

It’s 5am here in the UK, and for some unbeknown reason I am up and blogging away.  I can’t sleep and I don’t know why (it’s really not like me to sleep, I can actually sleep for England!)
But anyway, at least it’s good news for you guys, it means I can catch up on some long awaited posts (although I must add this disclaimer and apologise in advance for any slopping grammar, spelling or handwriting.)

Isn’t this wedding just the sweetest?  A little rustic, lakeside gem…I am pretty much in love with this couple, their energy and their style!
Oooh..and if your interested, Nancy’s gorgeous dress was designed by Lela Rose and the tranquil location was a private residence in Fish Creek (seriously?! Is that a real place…)

The Wooden Engagement Ring

I was sent this wedding by Leah of The Accidental Housewife as she knows I am a huge fan of the Groom Styling and this wedding had it in droves.  However after reading her posts and seeing the rest of the photographs, I’m sorry but I have to make this post more than just Groom Style.  How could I possibly leave out the engagement or the dress story!  Check out The Accidental Housewife for the full story…

These sweet lanterns are a fantastic (and cheap!) way of lighting any space…don’t they look particularly striking outside and at night?

Earthy, Woody, Rustic

I am in the process of trying to find out where this dress and fantastic hairpiece are from..but for now just check out this amazing earthy, woody, rustic bridal shoot!

WOW!

Edit: Meghan has emailed me to let me know that the gorgeous headband was handmade by Alison Franchi of Le Petit Gardenia and the dress was made by the stylist on this shoot, Emily Basa Besa.
