An Outdoorsy Day

I just adore the simplicity of this wedding – outdoorsy, picnicy, and a cute couple in glasses!  Doesn’t the ceremony look beautiful? I love the guests in shorts and tee-shirts!

Wowoooowwowowowooooow erm.. WOW!

I adore these cute cute cute bridals taken by Kate Headley…I’ve just discovered her blog and it’s full of amazing photographs and inspiration!

I’m thinking I will have to invest in some balloons (I’m thinking black and pink) for my next bridal shoot.

Melissa and Mark Do It In Style

The Bride, Melissa sent me these exclusive wedding photos last week and I’ve been desperate to post them ever since… so here we go!

Melissa and Mark got married on 27 September at The Jerwood Space, a fabulous art gallery in a converted Victorian school just behind the South Bank in London, and as Mark paints in his spare time, plus the fact that they live in a converted Victorian schoolhouse (I’m so jealous) so it really was the most perfect venue for them.
Melissa’s family came over from Australia and her 4 year old niece was the adorable flower girl. Rather than bridesmaids, Melissa choose to have four ‘best girls’ – two of her oldest friends from school in Australia, who both live in London now; Mark’s sister Juliet, and her best friend Dani, whose husband Benjo was our best man. The girls were in different shades of pink dresses by Wtoo by Watters.

Mark wore a made-to-measure suit from Marc Wallace, and his fabulous shoes are ‘Melly’ brogues from Shipton & Henneage. Melissa’s dress was from Caroline Castigliano, by Irish designer Sharon Hoey. The bride wore a veil for the ceremony, and changed into a fascinator after.

Melissa says:

Our fabulously talented photographers, Aga and Jason Williams, captured the emotion, fun and personality of the day; we are so thrilled with their work and I love how in some photos we look uber-edgy and in others we look romantically old-fashioned!

We did our first dance to ‘Fisherman’s Blues’ by The Waterboys, and named our tables after songs that meant a lot to us. We had ‘bowl food’ served for our evening guests, and a fabulous cupcake stand made by Crumbs & Doilies, whose stall at the Chelsea food market I visit regularly on a Saturday! Our guests travelled from all over the UK, as well as from Australia and the US. Quite simply, it was the best day of our lives.

And you know what the best part is (aside from being married to the most fantastic man in the world…)? We get to wear it all again, and have a whole other celebration, in my hometown of Dubbo, Australia, in March!

Sam and Ben – Insanely Gorgeous Wedding

Here we go then my lovelies….let the Wedding Envy begin!  This is seriously one of the most gorgeous weddings I have ever seen – I know, I Know I say that alot…but I really mean it this time…not that I didn’t with all the others…it’s just..oh screw it – just look at this!

I have a new, ever growing obsession with this colour green and peacock feathers and this wedding satisfys that! This wedding also features quite possiblly one of the coolest and most original bouquets I’ve seen – I want one!  Sam’s beautiful dress used lace from her mother’s wedding mantilla, and they also tied a bit of it around the bouquet.  It was designed and made by Dame Couture.

Mandy and Mike – Old Hollywood Glamour

Sorry I can’t choose just a few photographs from this wedding. It’s a glamourous old Hollywood styled affair complete with a Marylin Monroe-esque Bride. These gorgeous photos speak for themselves, so I’m gonna shut and get one with it…sigh..stunning…

Mandy, the Bride had a photo session before the wedding with Faviana, the photos were then blown up and displayed above the stage in the reception.
Oh the drapes, the drapes! Romantic, stylish and beautifully lit…This has got to be one of the most glamourous and pink receptions I’ve ever seen.

The stage, complete with the huggge photos of the Bride…she sang at the wedding too – brave girl!

This wedding was featured on a TV show (which unfortuantly I haven’t been able to see)  Apparatnyl the Bride wanted things very different to the norm.  The show brought in an expert who was supposed to “class things up”.  They air brushed over her tattoos, and made her choose a different dress and bridesmaid dresses.  She wanted a cake with a giant cupcake and spiders- and he said no way!  The Bride actually works as a Marilyn impersonator (hence the singing) and to top it all off the show paid for the whole thing!

Max Wanger – Love and Marriage

straighttilt

There are not too many instances where I am actually blown away so much by the photographs I’m sent that I feel the need to post practically every single one. However today, like last week with DixiePixel (omg so freaking gorgeous), is one of those days (in fact the only reason I’ve omitted a few is because I’ve seen them so much on other blogs – and Rock n Roll Bride strives to be different don’t ya know!)

I was send these photos by Margaux, the girlfriend (and seemingly uber savvy PR guru – I’ve seen these photos on lot blogs – love it!) of Max Wanger – an editorial and up and coming wedding photographer. She says of these gorgeous images..

To be honest, since Max just decided to start photographing weddings he wanted to do an editorial type shoot to reflect his style. Shoko and Julian didn’t actually get married (yet!), but they are an adorable couple and were thrilled to participate. We all felt that this would be a great way for Max to get his name out there. Hopefully this doesn’t deter you from sharing the photos on your site. Our main goal was to showcase Max’s talent and share his beautiful work with as many people as possible — and for Shoko & Julian to get some really cool pics.

Is there any way I wouldn’t want to post!? Ahem NO!!
