After the popularity of the last post I ran in conjunction with Sandals and Martha Stewart Weddings, I am pleased to report that I have part two of their video series to share with you.
Susannah, who was married at the Sandals Royal Plantation Resort in Jamaica, is a make up artist and wanted to share with us some of her top tips for perfecting your wedding day make up when getting married in a hot climate. I’m thrilled to share this today and I hope you find it useful if you’re thinking about going the DIY route with your wedding make up.

Loved this post!
I don’t normally wear make up but have been practicing with the bare minerals starter kit for my wedding day – it’s amazing stuff but it’s really helpful to see a tutorial using it. I feel like I won’t need to worry about it slipping off when I get hot and bothered now – brilliant!
I usually do my make up. But anyways thanks for the tips you’ve given. This could help soon for my wedding day.
Oooh this post couldn’t be more helpful to me!! Getting married in Fiji and in the Summer heat, I had been worried about what products would be more suited. Now I have my checklist: mineral foundation, concealer and bronzer and waterproof mascara! Voila!
Thanks Kat 🙂
How incredibly useful! Thank you so much, I am hopeless with makeup. I can apply these tips for all sorts of occasions. Thank you!
