After the popularity of the last post I ran in conjunction with Sandals and Martha Stewart Weddings , I am pleased to report that I have part two of their video series to share with you.
Susannah, who was married at the Sandals Royal Plantation Resort in Jamaica, is a make up artist and wanted to share with us some of her top tips for perfecting your wedding day make up when getting married in a hot climate. I’m thrilled to share this today and I hope you find it useful if you’re thinking about going the DIY route with your wedding make up.

Hi Kat,
Firstly, I wanted to say that out of all the blogs I visit over various genres, your's is the most consistently updated and therefore interesting blog I've come across.
My predicament is that me and my future husband are planning our wedding from London to take place in our home New Zealand. We are flying back there in February to get married on the beach with our closest friends and family.

I've got a slightly different kind of post for you today, sponsored by Sandals and Martha Stewart Weddings. I have to say, I got pretty darn excited when I received the call from these industry giants wanting to work with little old me!
Sandals have put together a series of three videos, following the story of a couple getting married in Jamaica using their service. The incredible Martha Stewart Weddings are working alongside them to style the weddings of their lucky clients too. The companies were keen for me to be the lucky blog to share these fabulously made videos and I have to say my mind has certainly been changed as to what a 'package destination wedding' can really be. Doesn't the whole wedding looks just totally divine? The couple were able to escape from it all and plan the intimate wedding they wanted - just for them - and that dear reader, is what being Rock n Roll is all about!

When that trademark lilac packaging landed on my doorstep and I tore into it, I was greeted with so many pretty florals and bright colours that it instantly lifted my hump day mood. I immediately started thinking of ways I could dress them up, bridesmaid's style!

Low Key but Luxe: How to Have a Budget Wedding that Still Looks Fancy AF

If there’s one thing we know to be true in wedding world ‘19, it’s that engaged couples are looking to save as much money as they possibly can. In fact, some reports coming though at the moment state that the £25k ‘average’ wedding budget that’s thrown around by the media may have in fact decreased to something much closer to £12k in the last year or so (thanks Brexit, thanks Trump).
However, what that doesn’t mean is that 2019 couples want their budget savvy weddings to look cheap, far from it in fact. Rock n Roll brides in particular are, if anything, becoming even more creative and experimental with how they pull off a killer wedding on a budget. Today, our friends at Most Curious Wedding Fair are here to tell you how to do it.

Have you decided what welcome drinks you're going to serve at your wedding yet? Something lovely and fizzy or maybe you're opting for a signature cocktail? Well, how about doing both?!
A few weeks ago my friends Ronnie and Sophie came over, so I thought we'd have some fun and throw a mini cocktail party. We used Freixenet Spanish Cava which is not only inexpensive, but totally delicious and dangerously easy to drink!
