Ooh what a lovely sparkly rockabilly wedding! Lucia & Pete got married at Arundel Town Hall, West Sussex which was followed by an outdoorsy reception at the bride’s sisters camp site – Billycan Camping, Arundel – which specialises in bringing back traditional camping, with bell tents, safari lounge tents and Teepees! “We wanted to create a family orientated wedding” Lucia told me. It was held in my hometown, my Mum did our photos, my Dad made the rings, my Mother in law made the cake and the whole thing was held at my sisters campsite. Fun, laughter and a relaxed environment was important to us. We’d been to so many weddings where we felt on edge (due to not knowing everyone) and we didn’t want that from ours. It was a buffet lunch that was solely Vegetarian and the tables were decorated with gold sweetie bags with fake tattoos beside them- these were red hearts with a scroll across- reading “Pete & Lucia” something that went down amazingly well with the children.”
Lucia wore a stunning dress from Rock n Roll Bride favourite, Whirlingturban which she teamed with some amazing Christian Louboutin’s and a stunning vintage sparkly jacket that belonged to her sister. The bridesmaids wore dresses from Get Cutie who specialise in pin up girl patterned dresses!
“The reason why I think that our wedding was Rock n Roll is because we dedicated a long time to making sure the day really showed off who we are as a couple, and as friends” the couple concluded. “Our family isn’t very keen on tattoos, so this was a real chance for us to show them that they are a part of us, and we were proud of them…but my main objective was for everyone to have fun, no forced activities, but a relaxed environment for all the family.”
Thanks to Lucia & Pete for sharing this wonderful wedding with us today

She looks amazing – the look is spot on without being pastiche. Frankly, I would marry either of them.
Just checked out the photogs website – really good stuff. Beautifully caught moments without tricksyness. Lucky bride to have such a talented mum.
This was lovely to read and gorgeous pictures!
Anyone know where to get the tattoos from? Great idea! X
Love love love this wedding!! Tattooed gorgeousness!!
Love!
These are lovely. I have been inspired to stick to my guns and have my tiny little tattoo that everyone says I should cover up for the wedding, not covered at all. Thank you RRB. 😀
What a gorgeous couple! I’m with them 100% – I wondered for a while if my mum was going to ask if I could wear a floor-length, long sleeved, high necked wedding dress to cover my tattoos – hey, why not make it out of wool too?!
Tattoos are beautiful (for the most part) and they’re part of you because you carry them on you forever, don’t hide who you are on your wedding day of all days!!
I completely agree…thank you for all your lovely comments! The wedding was amazing and i’m pleased it’s been translated into the photos.
Love Lucia & Pete.xx
Best wedding jacket ever! So sparkly and cute.
