It’s nice to break away from all the weddingness sometimes and just spend some time enjoying some non wedding inspiration and Taylor’s senior portraits fall smack bang into this category. I’m sure it’s pretty obvious why I love these – the colours, the contrast and her gorgeous retro rockabilly style – she has got that pin up thing down to a tee with her fluttering eyelashes and her matt, crimson lips. Can you believe this gal is only 18!?
ps I ♥ that egg chair a little too much!

Rock n Roll Bride sponsor Michelle of Oeil Photography sent me an exclusive peek at her newest photographic creation. A lucid ballet of light, colour and fabulous fashion, these shots just make me want to dress up in a bright yellow ‘cage’ dress and get my pose on!
Models Rene, Lauren (who actually made the yellow cage) and Tara (of Trigger Happy Photo) seriously rocked this shoot – stepping away from any fancy frou frou weddingness in favour of playing along in their very own circus act of colour, experimentation and edgy fashion.

I am all about the swooning this (slightly) sunny Saturday morning. I love the idea of using the vintage mirror in so many different but equally gorgeous ways.

I woke up today feeling like I didn’t want to get out of bed. At all. However I dragged my sorry self out of my pit and boy am I glad I did. I swear, I think the stuff I have to share today may be by favourites ever. I have had some absolutely phenomenal bridal shoots and weddings land in my inbox overnight.
Think I’m exaggerating? Well just check out this photo shoot sent exclusively to meeee. All the dresses were supplied by White Orchid Brides. If you’re in the Knoxville area methinks you need to check these bad boys out. Erm..hello beautiful!
Tara and Colleen you literally rock my world…

Now I’m not normally one for cutie children, but seriously how adorable are these kids?! Their expressions are absolutely priceless.
What about this sexy couple then? An old Hollywood, film noir style mixed with that unique Russian flair… gorgeous
