This week I was lucky enough to meet the legendary wedding planner Mark Niemierko. I'm not going to lie, I was nervous about meeting him as I really didn't know what to expect... or why a celebrity/high end wedding planner would want to meet me. However I'm pleased to report back that we got on like a house on fire! I seriously love this dude. He may be the planner du jour to the stars and I may be the punk rock chick with funny coloured hair and one to many tattoos, but over a couple of Cosmopolitans and a lot of gossip, I realised we're very very similar indeed! I have been waiting over a year to see Gaelyn & John's wedding - a year! As you all no doubt will have seen by now, I had a very exciting announcement to make yesterday. After over a year of working 2 jobs I've finally got to the stage where I feel I can cut back on my 'proper job' and put more into Rock n Roll Bride. Anyway, as I said before, none of this would be possible without you. I know I say this, like, a lot...but I really do have the best weddingy-friends! After the frankly ridiculous popularity of the Love Me Do free wedding photography contest, I have been chomping at the bit to get this next one up and running! Erica Berger...ahh what can I say that I haven't said before!? Her work is phenomenal, I'm pretty sure that's all you need to know! Go check out the interview I did with her a few weeks ago and remind yourself already. Got it? Yeah you have! OK, so hella exciting news people. The ever lovely Erica is offering one lucky couple a free trash the dress shoot and she will travel anywhere in the world! All you need to do is pay for her travel and lodgings (if applicable - ie if you are outside of San Francisco where she is based) and you could have your very own set of Erica Berger originals to adorn your walls.
