“It was a cold and frosty day in Occidental, CA.  Lynnae, the beautiful bride to be, endured freezing conditions for this shoot and was still able to nail the magnum look.  We shot all the way down to the coast and continued to smile until our faces froze.  Good times.”

I think that says it all really. This shoot it just too stunning for words.

Be sure to check out the rest of this gorgeous set after the ‘jump’

“Just another hot and windy Sunday afternoon in Tracy, CA” began photographer Nirav.  “Showing Matt & Lynnae’s love for each other meant that they had to feel extremely comfortable in their location and with me so I decided to start the session at a place that they had spent a lot of time together and had lots of character which was Matt’s mother’s home/farm.  The home included stables, a farm house, and several critters of all sorts.  We took several shots there and once things felt right we moved out to the hills of Tracy with the intention of shooting with the giant windmills in the background.  When we got, the security patrol was there to make sure those shots were not going to happen.  The amount of wind up on hill was tremendous and I loved the movement of hair so we took the remainder of the shots there with a very simple backdrop.  My favorite shots are ones that play on light and shadows.  I wanted at least one dramatic silhouette shot which is when I spotted the power lines.  After that, we all headed back to house and passed out from heat exhaustion.”

“Wind, hair, rock and roll…mixed in with a little luuuv.  That’s what this shoot was all about.  Matt and Lynnae are a fun, charismatic, dynamic, and beautiful couple.  Matt and I go back to high school.  We also share the same love for playing and recording music.  Oh how I miss our jam sessions where we played everything from Tool, Rage Against the Machine (minus the ridiculous Tom Morello solos) and of course Alice in Chains.  Now we both listen to Hanson…MMMbop.  Lynnae is nothing less than the absolute coolest person on the planet.  She knows how to rock out and have a good time.  There is never a dull moment when we are hanging out.  These two are a match made in guitar center.  I just love it.”

Part two of today’s love for The Philippines comes in the form of these stunning images sent by Jeffroger Kho. Arthur & Sheilan are one seriously cool couple and I am nuts about that purple dress!

Jeffroger described this session as ‘an engagement session on steriods’ and I certainly have to agree. It’s not everyday a photographer shoots a couple in a spooky, abandoned house that looks like it belongs on an Asian horror movie set or on a windswept beach standing in a box and wrapped in clingfilm! These shots seriously wouldn’t look out of place in Vogue and I am smitten.
