Our little country continues to astound me this week with Kate & Seb’s Sussex wedding rocking it’s way into by inbox today. Photographer Sarah described this wedding as “by far the funkiest I have ever shot” and therefore it’s perfecto for Rock n Roll Bride!

I am absolutely crazy in love with Jessica & Dave’s retro rockabilly wedding! Not wanting to stick to tradition, Jessica & proposed to Dave over a jungle themed cake! She explained:
We had actually had no plans of ever getting married, but a few things changed and my views on the whole institution of marriage softened a bit. I knew that I wanted to get married, but I had no idea how I was going to bring up the subject, so it just happened sort of spur of the moment. One day we were watching Ace of Cakes, and they were making a jungle themed cake. I studied lemurs in the rainforest of Madagascar, so I turned to Dave and said “Will you get a cake with two lemurs on top of it with me?” and he said something to the effect of “What, wait, huh? Why? Are you asking me to marry you?” and I said “yes!”

♥ The Unbride, Justine Ungaro, has relaunched her fabulous blog. It’s had a makeover and is more awesome than ever. Plus to celebrate she is running a veil giveaway from Castle Bride Couture.
♥ Vivienne Westwood has released some brand new colours of the super popular Lady Dragon shoe. I need those red/fuchsia ones in my life asap!
♥ The delightfully dark La Carmina gave us a sneak peak of her newest book – Cute Yummy Time. I can not wait to get my hands on it!
♥ This is kind of last week’s news – but as this is a new feature and I had to squeeze it in. My friend Marina and her band Miss Fitz got through to bootcamp on the X-Factor. Check them out. I’m biased yes but they totally rock!
♥ Design*Sponge posted some super gorgeous downloadable wallpapers on their site. I am currently rocking the Deanne Cheuk (Light) design.
