What a stunning Bride! Emily wore an antique dress and looks amazing in it!
I was just browsing through some old files of mine for some research I’m doing (watch this space!) and I rediscovered this fabulous wedding! This was one of my most favourite finds when I was planning our own wedding so I must share.
It’s beachy, it’s diy, it’s relaxed, it’s vintagey, its fun – I fell in love with the parasols, the flowers, the cake, the cake topper and the cheeky couple.
The Bride’s Knot Site also had some great diy tips and step by step instructions on how they did stuff – definitely worth checking out
Yes, its another vintage inspired wedding but omg seriously you will forgive me when you check out these stunning photographs!
Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming! collaborated with Elizabeth, the Bride to design the stunning table in the gorgeous outdoor space. They used thirty chandeliers, both new and antique, which illuminated the villa-style terrace.
They also used a custom-made 40-foot velvet runner, linen-backed menus and platinum banded chargers to decorate the long table. The linen chair cushions were trimmed with delicate blue velvet piping, matching the simple yet stunning fondant decorated cake. The whole look is so decedent yet so eclectic…that’s why I love it so. I wish my house was decorated just like this table!
There are so many vintage/diy weddings out there but that doesn’t stop them being fabulous and totally post-worthy!
Yuli and Keith got married at New York’s Beaver-Del Hotel & Campground on the Delaware River, recently purchased by some friends of theirs – what a perfect location!
Jen and Patrick didn’t want a traditional ceremony, or a traditional wedding for that matter, instead, they chose to gather their friends and family in the courtyard of the Marvimon House, LA and conduct an impromptu and totally unscripted ceremony. Their two father’s officiated – how perfect is that?!
This wedding wasn’t about fancy decor or an expensive cake; it was what weddings should be, about two people sharing their love in a way that was quintesstially them.
The Bride wore a fabulous vintage dress and amazing Prada heels and the Groom looked super dapper in his bowtie/suit combo!
