When newcomer Jonas Peterson emailed me a link to some his weddings this morning, I knew I recognised his name…I did a search and realised I’d featured one of them before as it had some kick as Australian Groom Style! The other wedding he sent me (he has only ever shot two – quite unbelievable when you see how amazing these photographs are!) was that of Geoff & Cait – a totally rockin’ riverside affair. He has still most definatly got the Groom, Groomsmen (and women!) thing down…
I am loving the soft feel of these images – I’m really into this almost angelic, vintage look right now.

Thanks for sending these my way Jonas – I’m looking forward to featuring more of your weddings in future!

Leo Patrone is one of those photographers I really admire. I check his site often just hoping for a new little bit of wedding joy to share with you, and today I got lucky!
For some reason I have been all about the vintage/old looking photography today…I don’t know why, I’m just being really drawn to it (to top it off Kathryn @ Snippet&Ink posted a gorgeous wedding today using Poladroid to generate faux Polaroid images of the day – oh how much fun I had after I downloaded that application!)
But anyway, as usual I digress…let’s just enjoy the wonderful Holga goodness of these photographs.

I just can’t wait any longer. I have to get these amazing photographs from a genuine 1960’s wedding up as soon as possible! I just know you’re going to love these.
This post and the ‘is it/isn’t it an actual wedding from the 70’s?’ debate was so popular (and popped up on so many other blogs afterwards too) that I just know you will all adore this one. (Just in case you were wondering, The Love Boat wedding, actually turned out to be a modern wedding, but done in such an authentic vintage fashion!)
Taadaaa..proper 1968 love…(taken by a 13 year old photographer with a Kodak Instamatic camera!)

Have you seen the photographs of Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese’s wedding? Even though the marriage didn’t last very long (boo) I think these are defiantly worth a post, because if you haven’t seen these you are missing out on an absolute Gothic gem!
Seriously though how many dresses did this glamorous lady have? I absolutely want to be her.
(I’ve included the text from the Vogue article becuase I think it’s defiantly worth a read!)

Good Morning and a happy snoozy Sunday to everybody (although, this Sunday will not be so snoozy for me – gym, lunch at the parents’ and a huge load of new amazing weddings to post.)
You see, I discovered We Heart It late last night, and omg their are so many amazing images on that site! If you haven’t been there before, click yourself over there sharpish – but not before you check out this amazing Polaroid shots by Taiwanese photographer Bookcan. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I adore Polaroids. I wish I had one. There is something so special and genuine about a Polaroid photograph.
