International Loving

My biggest blogging secret has got to be flickr. Not only do I get to keep up to date with all my favourite photographer’s work, but it is quite frankly the best place for discovering little known talent, especially people that you don’t see all over the blog-o-sphere. I was blown away by Russian photographer Zaporozhets Sergey’s photography, especially this gorgeous set. Not only is the style of wedding like nothing I’ve seen before, but his photography is so different too..

Speaking of international love, Rock ‘n Roll Bride has today been featured on Spanish blog, Kireei, fantástico!

A Rose Amongst Thorns!

I have a confession..not only did I google myself (I know right, shameful!) but it took me to page on The Knot(gaah!) Good news is that my voyage into uninspired-ville was not in vain. The link I followed took me to this ‘omg awesome’ 50′s rock n roll style wedding and introduced me to Imaginative Studios. Hurrah!

I’ve got some superb bridals to share with you. As soon as I clocked these in my inbox I knew I’d have to feature them! I am loving the mix of lighting giving the photographs such a glossy overall feel. Fabulous.

Is this the greatest name for a company ever!? It conjures such cute, girly, pink ‘n glittery images in your head…but then when you check out their work – bam! you realise how wrong you were!

Siobhan & Darah are the photographers behind the modern, edgy, urban lens’. Based in Philadelphia, they pride themselves on taking a fashiony, editorial approach to wedding photography, resulting in some pretty amazing images! No one could accuse these guys of churning out the norm.

Landa and Jeremy were the perfect couple for the girls to shoot – they wanted wedding photographs that were edgy and sexy, and isn’t that exactly what they got?! I am in love with the Bridesmaids in particular – the mismatched black dresses are just one of my all time favourite bridesmaid dress choices! Flattering and sexy, what’s not to love?
