Trilby Hat

Emotional & Theatrical

Classy, elegant, retro. These are the words that came to me as soon as I saw Rebecca & Justin’s 1950s inspired engagement session. The shoot took place at The Ritz Ybor in downtown Tampa, a venue which perfectly reflected photographer Alicia’s vision for the session. Rebecca’s polka dot dress was from PinUp Girl Clothing and Justin looked the part in his trilby hat (which retails at $75 but he picked up for $6!) and waistcoat combo.

Sugar & Spice

Well people, hold on to your hats and prepare yourself for another bumper day of Rock n Roll goodness. Did something magical happen overnight or something? I have received a ridiculous number of amazing photo sessions and weddings this morning – I just hope I can bring them all to you soon!

Quirky & Creative

Tyson & Courtney are a quirky and creative couple and so what else would be perfect for their wedding than what full of quirks and creating! The event took place at the house and yards of The Dana Powers House in, where the couple made the day their own with all the personal touches.

Through and Through

A bride in a black dress, fluevog shoes and black birdcage veil. A groom wearing aviators, a tribly hat and a belt with skulls on it. I think you’ll agree that Sean & Chantal are Rock n Roll through and through!

Glam Vintage

Krista & Uryah had a 1920s style wedding in Snohomish, WA. As a professional seamstress, Krista  planned and DIY’d the majority of wedding herself. I have a whole lot of love for this set - her shoes, her back lace umbrella, the cigarette holders – classy and wonderful!

Punk Rockers

Erika & Chris tied the knot at Salt Lake’s legendary Ruth’s Diner which is now owned by Erika’s parents. The diner had never hosted a wedding before but suited the couple’s laid back, rock n roll style down to the ground. Dispite living in relatively conservative Utah, it would seem that nearly every tattooed kid in the State was in attendance – from tattoo artists to punk rockers!

Too Stylish For Me

Bess & Matt…ahh what can I really say what would do justice to the images I see before me?

The couple wed at Ridley Creek State Park with an amazing outdoorsy, rustic style fest. Of course Bess’ tattoos and Matt’s ‘tache are what did it for me. Not to mention the dress by Megin Sherry, the check shirt (wow this Groom has some serious style) the casual garden flowers provided by Amanda Staples, the peacock earrings, the trilby hat and the cupcakes…oh yes Bess & Matt are just too stylish for me.

Thanks to Amanda & Carina for sending me this glorious wedding

If you would have told me six months ago that I’d be getting submissions saying ‘I shot this session with Rock n Roll Bride in mind’ I would have said you were totally nuts. In fact I still think you’re a bit nuts but I guess that’s beside the point.

Keira & Dan had a super cute session with Studio Nouveau. The vintage camera, the bright blue wall, the awesome trilby hat – yes I love it all.
You’ve gotta watch the slideshow as well because I just can’t get enough of this wonderful stuff.

Thanks to Lara & Kate of Studio Nouveau for not only thinking of me, but for being super duper adorable.
